User tip... the belt clip is also great for hanging the tool on the side of a service cart or toolbox...
Good catch! I didn’t think I’d like that but now I hang it on everything BUT a belt ha
Thanks for the tip about the "safety switch" I was considering this exact one but I can be a bit impulsive at times 😭 ....Years ago I almost tore my arm up due to grabbing my cordless drill, with a spade bit still installed, shoved it in-between my arm and side to grab something else and forgot I never switched it to the off position 🤦🏾♀️ That could've been disasterous!! Thankfully not🙏🏽 Nice Video!!
I have been waiting for Bauer to make the electric Ratchet, I have everything else. All their tools have been amazing. The only one that's broke is the fan that took two years😅
I was considering the same purchase when I stopped at another store out of town and they had one open box for $40. I used it to change milling vise jaws in a machining center and was leaning way over when it bottomed out the bolt and clamped my hand. I was as impressed as the guy who seconds before had been dogging the Freight's Bauer line. He just bought one last week and try to use a lighter touch. 😂 It definitely has big bones though. Great content, third video straight, new subscriber. Thanks
I just purchased one waiting to use it 😊
Let us know what you think!
If your looking for a fast charger in the future for these batteries get the dual charger 👍. Also the sticker on battery gauge might peel off but it's ok it cools the battery better in my opinion
bought the 3/8 ratchet and use it for work. not a mechanic im putting together truss and big assemblies with it. heavy and maybe a little clunky but it works great.
I have the 1/2 in Ratchet from Bauer, and it's a beast. I already have plenty of 5 amp and 3 amp batteries, so I bought it for the store price of $59.99 and very satisfied with it. To be honest I like the bauer brushed tools than the brushless, you don't have all the safeties and shut offs like you have with the brushless. Honestly I have a problem with not having a safety shut-off switch this ratchet you will need to remove the battery every time you lay it down. I really don't know what bauer was thinking. I gave it five stars for the power and 3 1/2 Stars due to not having a shut-off switch.
I was just in there today and turned it down to wait for their battery charger deal and picking one up
Just Hope it last Longer then 1 year being it's not BRUSHLESS
I have the milwaukee 3/8 (an old one) so I got the bauer 1/2 inch. It is really helpful for running out caliper and long suspension bolts that fight you because of locktite.
Nice.
I have an adapter to use my Dewalt batteries on them. I have just a couple of Bauer tools.
I would’ve taken advantage but my local Hf doesn’t have the charger/battery kit yet.
I would probably lean more towards the Hercules.
I took advantage of the same deal with the battery and now i want the 1/2 rachet
I just got the 1/2" today.
Extended reach please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must say it's a bigger unit..😊
I know… the innuendos…
There is not enough torque to lose my brakes nuts.
Geez, how tight are they?
It’s a ratchet, you have to loosen with it manually first then use the electric part to get bolt out.
So does it work for brake bolts? I’m thinking on buying one 😅
@themonarch6621 I think you should go with the Impact wrench.
right angle impact like skil or milwaukee should do brake caliper and bracket bolts, these are usually
Go get yourself a Milwaukee right angle impact 1/2 with 280lb breaking strength.
it's too bulky for me
She’s a big girl
Dont buy it!! Been a mechanic for 7 years, this ratchet is heavier than you are! And its huge😂
You ain’t lyin it’s ginormous
