Mike I have been bodybuilding and powerlifting for over 14 years and i have never been sore in certain places until incorporating your techniques! keep the content coming!
I swear to god you make this so much easier than what it has to be the build big muscle. And at sixty years old I thank you from the bottom of my old heart. I mean older heart 😊 I'm a trainer and have seen many trainers over the years doing this a lot harder than it has to be.
20:25 - I would recommend going til a few reps until you can't movie it any more. Wise words to live by. And also, don't be afraid to go to failure on 1-2 sets on every exercise.

I’ve just joined the channel and find your no nonsense common sense video’s extremely helpful. I’m turning 50 next year and back to training 5 nights a week so need to understand the true nature of resistance training without all the media bs we get these days . Thanks Mike 💪🏽👍🏽
Great shoulder seminar! I hadn't done shoulder pressing in a few years so I've been doing chest/side delts and back/rear delts and I've got greats from that!
@@Noughtnowknoteva I agree. I'm curious why you often have guys you coach do shoulder press variations if you don't do it and think it's not great for the body.
After incorporating your mechanics of movement in my workouts and re-evaluating everything I was doing, my workouts and results F'ing skyrocketed. Thank you for all your videos.
I leave my hand open while doing the rear dealt exercise on the machine because it helps me with a better kind muscle connection. Same thing with when I do lats I make gun hands and use the outside fingers to pull and that also helps me with connecting.
I'm the one asking for the shoulders lmao thank you so much! These have helped so much with my shoulder development with zero pain you're saving shoulders all over the world!
Always the best and most detailed, no bs information. My training principles come from the late, great, John Meadows and Mike. We appreciate the content.
I have never felt my rear delts in my years of training till I watched the video. Thank you. Finally I have a mind muscle connection to my rear delts. Got an easy pump on my first set. Thank you so much. You have a new subscriber .
I’ve got a right shoulder and tent to not just miss on rears but also make my right neck levator scap feel like shit. This is a great video for me thanks 🙏🏼
Been feeling muscles in a way I’ve never have after watching Mike for a few months. Mostly my chest. Never got pumps the I’ve been getting because I’ve never really elevated my chest correctly and was using much more front felt and tricep
I just started watching his video and I definitely have learn and started using his way of lifting. I appreciate his knowledge. I laugh at those guys I see he talks about because it's so true
Love this Mike ..110% with the crazy head and neck movement never really noticed it now in the gym I look around and see this and I was the same ..all look like zombies trying to snap at thin air 😂. ..brilliant mate thanks for this advice 👍
Big Mike once again explains it like it should be, I see so many people in my gym putting a lot of weight on machines and their form is complete shit, I’ve been putting on weight lately that is manageable and that I can engage in…big difference in the activation of the muscles when you do it correctly…thanks Mike for the lessons! You da man!
How many reps? How many sets??🤯 “ fudge who knows”🤣🤘🏽 Thats why i love this Chanel, so real straight up. If you don’t like it go somewhere else. Wycked wycked
Isn't the part where he is doing double cables @14:00 an exercise for back? I've seen that in allot of beginner back exercise routines. (genuine question)
mike you always talk about lowering the weight and that a lot of weight is not necessary on so many exercises. im curious what kind of reps you give your clients? your videos are great and im trying to emulate your activation
Mike any chance you could touch on pressing some more? I get contractions and pumps on flys/cables.. but fuck me why can I not feel my chest when I press?
Yes, that is what I do not understand that in many videos experience guys are saying that first set 15 reps second set 12 and then two failure sets it is funny 😄
Sup!! So I tried those bent over swinging rear delt movement. You definitely need good mind muscle connection. I used a 50 and did 20 reps. It’s a little tricky, I didn’t hit the delt every time. Granted it was the first time I tried it. But when I did hit it, it felt great. My movement was a little different then yours. But I figure it out. Definitely adding it to my shoulder routine. Thx
I don't do shoulder presses either I do face pulls, rear delt on the peck deck, and side lateral raises thats it. I do my fronts when I bench,,,, and a lot of people also think going big on shoulders is the way amd jts the way to get hurt not grow amd get stronger. The shoulders get strong quick and pack on size fairly quickly as well they are a muscle we use all the time for almost everything so there's that. I let my ego go a long time ago concerning shoulders. I still see dudes looking at me while doing 15lbs to 20lbs side laterals and they're going over amd picking up 50, 60 or 65lbs dumbbells and swinging to get the weight up amd they always think they're out working me which they're not and I'm laughing in my head every time I see this. Ensue I won't see these dudes back in the gym for weeks or months a couple I haven't seen in a year lol
I hvnt done any kind of pressing in 7 years and my strongest bodypart is shoulder all i do is heavy side latterels lotof drop sets and rear delt..when you think about thats what make yo look wide ways the side delt
Crap... I open my arms way too far on that fly... I'm probably just quickly hitting my rear delt on the way to my traps, which are probably catching most of the heat 😮...
To me Mike is my personal trainer, I've evolved a lot in a year now thanks to Mike!
Happy I could help

As a personal trainer this is priceless information I can use on my self and clients. Mike is a true gem of the fitness industry
the fact this video drops on shoulder day is a blessing!

Thank you Mike. I cannot press anymore due to injuries/surgery. I tried out your techniques, and I believe I can get my R shoulder growing again.

Make sense. Shoulder press is great for the ego. Not so much for the body

Shoulder press are a great addition to shoulder training but shouldn’t be the back bone
😆😆😆😆bro you’re hilarious
It’s like listening to my squad leader teach me how to lift all over again 😂🤙🏾
If you had no shoulder pain would you press?
That super set killed me
Gems for real !
I have a hard time feeling my triceps more than my delts when doing the cable reverse fly. 😫
Is pressing necessary?
What motivates man you on those days you feel down or not 100?
I am following you from Turkey, please add Turkish language as subtitles in your training videos, I would appreciate it..
He means protracted shoulders, on the first exercise
👍
I hvnt done any kind of pressing in 7 years and my strongest bodypart is shoulder all i do is heavy side latterels lotof drop sets and rear delt..when you think about thats what make yo look wide ways the side delt
can you share your shoulder workout routine?

Crap again... I screw up the 2nd exercise too... Waaaay too high and then I slow the weight on the way down 😮...
