If you do happen to read this, in your opinion, what are some other castle homes you would recommend for an xbox player?
That's quite the compliment! I'm glad you're inspired to start playing again! Another castle mod I would try would be Deus Mons. It's got a cool backstory, being the Skyrim home of Miraak, guarded by a dragon that you have to recovery the key from (it's corpse), and it has some really cool features, like an upside down waterfall where the water flows up. Unfortunately, it was never fully completed, but it's worth checking out, for sure. Castle Gonduin is really cool, too. It's near Riverwood, and you have to lift a curse (quest) in order to gain possession of the castle and restore the areas around it. I love mods that have quests to gain the home and also love restoring areas, so that's a win. Raven Castle is the largest home I've ever seen. It's vampire-themed. There is a quest associated with the mod, although it doesnt give you markers, and it's a little hard to navigate. The home has a lot of NPC's, different areas to visit, etc., but if you want to get lost exploring a cool home for hours, check it out. And you will get lost. No. This doesn't. There is a mod called Anniversary Edition Museum, where you cast a spell and it takes you to a wharehouse-like structure to store your AE items. I think if you search that name with my channel, I've featured it before. Hope this helps!

Absolutely! One of my favorites ever. I follow the mod author on Facebook too, and he is currently working on a complete rework of this mod and also considering making tutorials on how to use the Creation Kit to help others start modding. He included so many features that other mods don't have, and I haven't seen any similar to this! But if you liked this home, check out Mortum Castle. It's really large too, and has a lot of custom NPC's and well decorated. I have a video on that one as well.
@@SkyrimPlus Yes, I am currently checking some of your other videos. They are really well-made and informative + very recent. Many thanks for making these! I am still looking for a big home. I love the feature with the NPCs here and the storage. Not sure what to think about the Hall of Ascension, but it gives the fighting pit a purpose I guess. I'm also not sure about the NPCs having so much money on them. I am currently playing with Real Estate and Drunken Dragon (that player-owned store). Being able to easily sell my loot like that could make anything else redundant. I don't mind the unfinished children's room. I guess I'd leave them anyway in one of the vanilla homes under the care of a huscarl, maybe in one of the cities, so they can play with other children. What I am looking for is something big, after playing the Dragonborn DLC. I want to take Miraak with me and roleplay that he got his own castle. I've seen "Deus Mons - the Castle of Miraak" on Nexus, have you ever tried that by any chance and would recommend it? Sorry, I just thought, I'd take the opportunity to ask. Hope you don't mind!
@@henryethagaming1368 Thanks for the compliment! And as far as talking about mods, I don't mind at all! I could talk Skyrim homes all day and enjoy it! Deus Mons is another Behemoth of a home, and like Sjel Blad, there are sections that remain unfinished. It's supposed to have belonged to Miraak in Skyrim. You have to defeat a dragon to gain access to the house, which appeals to someone like me, who doesn't want to receive home mods for free. Like Sjel Blad, there is a ghost steward, but Deus Mons uses the ghost as the current steward. Like Castle Gonduin (another huge home mod I would recommend, although I don't have a video on it...yet...), the steward can sell you upgrades. Deus Mons still has cool elements of design, like a source of water that flows up instead of down, but the design is much more vanilla than Sjel Blad and much less customizable. They both have great views and located fairly close to each other. And Deus Mons has a recall spell, whereas Sjel Blad offers recall spells to every specific room, which is really neat, so if you don't want to travel through a whole castle to get access to your alchemy lab, you can teleport directly to it through use of the spell. In my opinion, Sjel Blad is a much more useful home, but role play purposes can heavily influence a playthrough, so if you are playing with Miraak, Deus Mons could be a good addition to your game. If you are looking for end game, huge homes though, consider The ones mentioned above, Mortum Castle, Raven Castle (although that one is too big for me... I think that one's the biggest I've seen), one of LC's home, like LC Build Your Noble House or LC Feudal Keep, or Castle Revelhost.
@@SkyrimPlus The teleport could in fact "make the deal"... I honestly don't see myself running through dozens of rooms just to do alchemy and would probably end up in the vanilla alchemy shack for crafting, if I had to. >_< I don't like "free" homes as well, but I am already setting myself the condition to finish the Dragonborn DLC first, so I'd take it as a "reward" then. I guess I could set myself the limitation of not being able to sell anything in that castle and just ignore how much money the NPCs actually have. Well, I'll download it and take a closer look. Oh, and I have both LC mods installed, but planned them in my head canon more for political gain than an actual home. Talking about building... I also loved Blackthorn, but it caused a crash at some point (in a former play-through). Since then, I haven't tried it again. Again - thank you so much! Also for the additional info. :) It's really helping me in my decision.
@henryethagaming1368 Absolutely! I almost included Blackthorn, too, but I didn't know if you would consider that big enough. In that space, you could also download Hejertesten Hall, which gives you a whole property, where you can recruit workers for the property, and those that you recruit have their own homes on the property to live. They also produce items, so if you asked the farmer about the crops, you get a share of the crops without having to harvest them, etc. Also, Waterview in Skyrim is a beautiful property in that same spot for $5000. These do conflict with each other and "The Scarlett", a HUGE ship that you build and decorate the inside, recruit workers, and the ship, like Blackthorn, can earn you residual income. And you have to clear a whole cave of bandits in order to recapture the ship, so role-playing is there for you. Sorry for adding more considerations. I get carried away sometimes. 😆

To see if it appears on the game finally
I tried this mod on Xbox in its early days. Spectacular castle home, but it had flaws and was still a WIP mod. I ended up deleting it not because it was bad, but because it had issues that needed resolution. I'd find the teleportation spheres on the floor, and they wouldn't work there so every location they linked to became inaccessible. I found a workaround, but after time that became more of a nuisance to navigate as more spheres would eventually relocate and become unusable., I tried it again a couple years ago on PC and the same issues arose, so I figured the author gave up on it, because none of the things promised in the description had been implemented or finished. As cool as the mod is, it's really just too large in scale, if I spend more time getting to somewhere I need to get to to craft, that is less time I'm crafting and less time to actually play the game. No offense intended to the author, it's a great idea, but maybe too grand to implement successfully...
He is working on a new version of the mod, and a work in progress version is up right now, but it's still in the early stages of development from what I've seen. Fingers crossed that one day that gets finished. 🤞
I think because the child wing was never finished, this won't work for kids. If you want a home with a lot of features that supports kids, you may want to check out my feature on Lonewolf's Manor. With help of other mods, it can support up to 100 followers, kids, as well as it having all crafting, it's own mine, a hidden room for unique items, and it's located just outside of Riverwood, so it's very convenient. Here's a link to my feature on it, if you're curious: ruclips.net/video/SOkZKbdDc40/видео.html
The home itself has a lot of natural followers in the barracks. I'm not sure if there is space for many more, unless you let them share in your bed chambers. Or perhaps if you had a mod manager, perhaps you could assign them to use the beds in the barracks and different times than the assigned NPC's if they aren't marked as owned. Some follower frameworks allow you to pick what time your followers idle and what time they sleep.
Thanks for reviewing my mod, I really appreciate it!

Does this exist for PS4 Pro?
No, it's not. Unfortunately, Playstation doesn't allow any mod that uses external assets, so it really limits the modding you can do.
Also the spirit of transformation isn't there
?
When I entered the room it wasn't there the others were fine I'm reaching out to the mod developer to see if he knows why
I can’t move my kids in…
I think because the child wing was never finished, this won't work for kids. Here's a link to my feature on it, if you're curious:

What armor is that?
That's the Bloodborne Armor Set from Team TAL. It isn't on Nexus. I found it through a Google search on an atypical modding site.
@@SkyrimPlus thanks so much!
how many followers can i have here ?
The home itself has a lot of natural followers in the barracks. I'm not sure if there is space for many more, unless you let them share in your bed chambers. Or perhaps if you had a mod manager, perhaps you could assign them to use the beds in the barracks and different times than the assigned NPC's if they aren't marked as owned. Some follower frameworks allow you to pick what time your followers idle and what time they sleep.
