I am currently using this mod and it is my favorite ...... for now. A word of WARNING !!!! When you use the Vault, anything that is not a gold coin, you need to take and put it in the chests. ingots, stones, and things you wear can be put in void storage and then auto sorted. If you don't and you keep filling it, the vault may and can lock you out, not sure why. I loaded it really full just to see how much I can put in it and then saved it and came back later to play the game and the vault would not let me in anymore, so I lost everything and had to start all over.

I find it more of a soothing guide voice and love accents a lot. They add a lot of flavor and color to the description of the homes. However I do agree that her voice is a very charming one for sure.
Heh @ estate agent:) I'll see what I can do for you for a few more of the large places - I do have a separate playlist of all the large/massive places I've video'd so far. I tend not to do them very often because I'm directionally-challenged /grin - and so it becomes a bit of a chore for me rather than an enjoyable experience!

It always amazes me when mod authors (actually, ARTISTS) create things like this. The imagination, first, and then the commitment to finish something this behemoth! It's absolutely jaw dropping. The only part that hurt my eyes was all that Z fighting in the Vault. Maybe it's been dealt with by this date. Something I'm definitely going to be taking a look at. I love places that have their own personality, good layout, and include everything you need. I had a chuckle at your arachnophobia. I think you should get a spider follower and face them fears! LOL. I went through the same thing first time I played Fallout 4. OMG I hate roaches. I get those chills, the ahhh get away from me! and then, they're the size of dogs? It took a long time to swallow that phobia for me. Still will scream like a school girl if I see one in RL though :D

After watching this review I added it to my OldRim lineup. I spent a great time wandering the halls and adhering to one of the universal laws of location - (If you don't care where you is you ain't lost"). It is staying in my world because in my head I see it as the place I need to maintain as the last refuge for the people of this land. The ultimate place to retreat to in case of a Draugr Apocalypse or a Daedric War. I could see this becoming a city fortress - its almost that now ! Terraced city levels surrounded by walls rising level by level up the mountain with the populace living on and in the mountain and this castle as the ultimate focal point and final refuge if needed. If you drop by I have made some small effort to make it more comfortable for those people who find the castle too big and imposing. I have the servants setting up a blanket fort in the corner of the throne room. Drop by for tea and mature conversation about the state of realm. The blanket fort password is "Skeever Cooties".
The tree of life is a question : do we grow through time or move through it? That contains at least one hidden question : are we atoms of our self connected like a root to the source? Are we ourselves atoms of our self as a temporary 4 dimensional weave of a self? This dwelling is so mystically awesome that it inspires one to seek within it’s walls answers to at least as important questions as this. A new level, my goodness. It must remind us that every being with true senses would support power and magic in actions with good virtue and blessings and compassion and harmlessness and therefore evil in existence must be a mere fear of mortality bought to life in order to explore all ramifications of that fear. Evil cannot be infinite yet good can be.
This is the one i got. Its amazeing. 30 animal 100 wild as followers 60+ npcs and also 30+ companions. Has a battle zone customized entire house bed and even change guard armor. Its AWESOME.
Oh very nice. I am going to start watching this as soon as I get done get my coffee brewed and have to walk to the store :/. However I am super excited to see what you brought to the channel today and I always love watching your videos. I am having a hard time finding them for my mom on her laptop lol. She really loves playing like how you do I'm guessing. She really loves player homes and especially if she can move her little family into them. I love player homes also, but that's because I am the Dragonborn and feel I deserve extra homes in the game for saving the world lol.
I had been eying this mod for awhile but the pictures made it look so dark and I hate darkly lit home mods but this video shows that its a lot brighter than the screen shots made it look so I have just installed it and cannot wait to enjoy it, thanks to your video!
It took me 5hrs real life time to look at everything. And another 6hrs real life time to get everything set up decorations curtains flags hireing staff changeing armor for the mages. Knights. And archers. The xb1 version is a bit different. We dont have the money pool. And the throne is sitting up on a platform over the fire pit in main hall. We dont have the dining room either unless i missed it. Im still finding things. I just found the secret door in master bed room. Xb1 has a huge bath and dressing room on opp. Side of bed room. Behind the 2 small sitting pools between the fire place. This is a amazeing mod. Its a keeper. I have looked along time for something like this. My only beef with it is the load screens that seperate and kill the interaction with followers and companions. I would like to see them walking around while i sit on the throne. Lolololol but unless i get them out and say wait here it just dont happen. And also the claim bed in master bed room. The mod doubble beds are for two doesnt apply. Sucks but hey the arena is awesome. The stores to buy arrows and bows and armor and clothes in the trainning room is cool. Just wish there was no load time inbetween one room to the other. This mod is i think 78mb and super huge house. The batman of skyrim is 400+mb and cant use anything. All ya get is a suit and 3 rom player home and 2 books. For 400+mb. I deleted it. This is 78mb with 100npcs some followers arena more storage then you can use. Stable for every living animal and staff for days. This is the tops for me but i still look for the one that has this stuff without load screens for master and follower and crafting rooms. Lol amazeing vid girl as always. I just now came accross this vid of yours. And 40min was a good start. Your a small house girl but you could hear the excitment in your voice walking through the house. or your kitty was doing something funny. Either way thank you for the vid.
My favorite part of this mod is you can choose any of the standard dragon types to gaurd your vault. So when you walk in and see your mounds of gold you have your own Smaug to gaurd it for you.
I downloaded this Mod & all i can say is........awesome, it is huge, so much to see & do & find, obviously still to be completed but on the whole a tremendous effort from the creator, there is a glitch or two mainly with the teleport system, not sure if it is my load order or the mod but it is only a small problem, doesn't happen all the time, so overall well impressed.

I just uploaded this mod yesterday on my Xbox One X with some others ( Inigo / Moonpath to Elsweyr / Falskaar / Beyond Skyrim : Bruma ) and this castle is so much more impressive than it is already in this video.
This is probably the most well done, detailed castle mod I've ever seen ! Your voice is so nice I left a like :) if you know any other castle mod that comes close to this please let me know !
Available on Xbox One you can find this on the Bethesda site “Sjel Blad Castle - V1.44c (Xbox One)” favorite it on there. To find this on Xbox one can be problematic- just type in v1.44c. Be warned it will differ slightly from pc performance wise etc and can be a little buggy with some users.
The size is really impressive but from the mod size raven castle is much bigger which i admit i prefer but raven castle has the whole valley to it with its 460 mb
Oh! I use three mods that add spells so I have hundreds of additional spells. Each with it's own tome. I probably could fill that library without needing duplicates.
Evening:) - no I've never done that - I feel that most mod authors would probably want something a bit more professional than my homespun content, though I have been pleasantly surprised to get the odd comment from them when they have found my videos, presumably by accident lol. I did put a link on a mods comment section once or twice - I should probably do that more but I don't like to as it feels a bit pushy if that makes any sense.
Great mod but do make sure to save game before exploring inside as there's still alot of bugs and gaps in the structure where you would literally fall through the map or come across doors that won't open 👌🏼
weird name, "sjel blad" can be translated to either "soul leaf" or "soul blade" from Norwegian, feal the english names sounds better, wonder if it somehow have connections to "hjertesten" that translate to heartstone from norwegian?
I admit, as much as this castle has to offer, I prefer smaller homes like Winter Cove or Wind Path. My main house however is a (X-Box only, I think?) modded version of Breezehome.

Smaller but not to small, they have everything you need and what you don't "need" in terms of game mechanics, these houses are cozy and just feel like home. First time I discovered Winter Cove was at night, first I had to fight my way through Helgen, climbed the mountain path, trudged through the snow and finally reached the home... Someone, please lit the hearth and make some hot chocolate 😁

@@FebrithDarkstar 😅 well, either you know whats coming and have wood in your inventory and/or you just deactivate the option in the book. 😁 I think I did both? 🤔 Copping wood isn't really effective in the game, unlike mining for which you can go into attack mode with a pickaxe. So, were I can avoid it, I turn it off - sadly making some special weapons or arrows needs wood. What I also like about these two homes is that the mod author used the underground, it's a bit like going in to your own little cave.
Such a place where I envision if Brunwulf was made jarl, imagine the dark elves, other elves, argonians, khajits, orcs, redguards, bretons, nords, imperials, even falmer live together inside Sjel Blad Castle, co-exist, ensure such diversity and equality for those species.'' I, a dragonborn (argonian), married Shahvee, adopted Sophie and Runa Fair Shield or Sissel, Much as I wanted Camilla, I think Faendal can have her. If there was an option to marry several - I would have picked Shahvee, Mjoll the Lioness, Lydia, Ysolda, Sylgia, wish Saadia was available or Constance Michel or even Suvaris Atheron. As for adoption, I wish I could adopt several other than Sophie and Runa, I'd do the same with Sissel, Eirid, Svari, Knud I wish this building was available
Sjel blad translates soul blade.... one of the largest castle mods in the game. My only gripe. I hate teleportation things to get around and the FR killer in the basement

About the 2 vaults i know they accept only gold coins BUT will they respawning or will they stay permanently with gold inside the treasures pits ? If the mod to have aztec coins ( like ones in Pirates of the Caraibes movies ) instead of septims coins is activated will it make the vault crashing game sessions ?
I'll say later when came back from work what happened in the vault between " working fine or avoiding it at all costs like dibella statues and gold ingots are for example " I found some mods which include objects have a value superior to 1 000 000 000 septims impossible to sell whatever i could buy all the items by all the mods of merchants from the entire Tamriel in just one location of trader

I really wonder how well this works with NPC AI mods, like the one which makes NPCs behave intelligently when attacked, based on power/profession/proximity to established 'sanctuaries (taverns, inns, temples, castles, forts, etc). It seems like this mod is in itself a major character's retirement home --- its own minigame, if you will.
In case you didn't find out since you posted, the person who made this mod made it as an application to work at Bethesda. As you might imagine, they work there now, and haven't updated the mod since.
This is an awesome home and was created with a serious attention to detail. However it has unfinished incomplete areas and has some serious problems with AE. In it's present state it seems to have issues that will crash your game anywhere in game foe AE. I read somewhere that the creator due to rl issues has not been able to either complete or update this mod. By complete I mean there are some areas and features marked "Coming Soon" that have not been implemented in over 2 years. It is imho one of the top 5 house mods but in it's present state it's unusable.
Not when I did that video - you'd need to check the mod description now because I'm sure someone just told me that it's been worked on and there is now a childrens' wing.
I was wondering if you were ever going to brave this one with your penchant for getting lost, but I guess the teleports helped with that lol. Anyways, yeah Sjel Blad has always been the most amazing castles with the coolest features and yes there are more things you missed(cause it's so damn massive lol) that will take a more thorough inspection to find (assuming you decided to keep it for a while, if not no worries you got the main points of interest), but as sad as I am to break it to you the mod author hasn't updated the castle for a couple of years so it's hard to say when or if we'll ever get those 'coming soon' features (if not, still no biggie since there's already so much to play with)

Capitalist Cole * Long answer Your right it’s not found when tying in Sjel Blad Castle.. it is still listed on the Bethesda site and is titled Sjel Blad Castle - V1.44c (Xbox One) searching for this will not work either. (There’s a way of finding something by favoriting a mod on Besthesda’s site it will then appear on your Xbox favourites list however make sure you do not have lots of favourites because Xbox will only show around hundred of your favourites (there is no menu extender on Skyrim as there is on FO4) - I just did this now by unfavouriting mods one by one until it appeared on my list) The Best and guaranteed way is to type in v1.44c be warned this mod will differ slightly from pc and is very buggy Soulbladex has promised to update this in the past and has done some work on this but he has a very busy life etc

Clearly it isn't available otherwise I would have mentioned it - and it would be also be mentioned in the multitude of other videos available for this castle. One glance at the mod description will tell you if a home has what you are looking for, perhaps it would be sensible for you to check in future before you watch anything and start making mardy comments.

The size is really impressive but from the mod size raven castle is much bigger which i admit i prefer but raven castle has the whole valley to it with its 460 mb
Oh! I use three mods that add spells so I have hundreds of additional spells. Each with it's own tome. I probably could fill that library without needing duplicates.

Evening:) - no I've never done that - I feel that most mod authors would probably want something a bit more professional than my homespun content, though I have been pleasantly surprised to get the odd comment from them when they have found my videos, presumably by accident lol. I did put a link on a mods comment section once or twice - I should probably do that more but I don't like to as it feels a bit pushy if that makes any sense.

Great mod but do make sure to save game before exploring inside as there's still alot of bugs and gaps in the structure where you would literally fall through the map or come across doors that won't open 👌🏼
I think the doors were for areas that were to be developed but never happened:( I didn't have any bugs or gaps though!

I love this mod, but it causes freezing on my Xbox one. I wish I could delete the lair, and stable animals, as these cause me crashing.

weird name, "sjel blad" can be translated to either "soul leaf" or "soul blade" from Norwegian, feal the english names sounds better, wonder if it somehow have connections to "hjertesten" that translate to heartstone from norwegian?
I honestly don't know but I do know that the mod author is working on the next version even as we speak so that's exciting!:)
I admit, as much as this castle has to offer, I prefer smaller homes like Winter Cove or Wind Path. My main house however is a (X-Box only, I think?) modded version of Breezehome.

Smaller but not to small, they have everything you need and what you don't "need" in terms of game mechanics, these houses are cozy and just feel like home. First time I discovered Winter Cove was at night, first I had to fight my way through Helgen, climbed the mountain path, trudged through the snow and finally reached the home... Someone, please lit the hearth and make some hot chocolate 😁

Copping wood isn't really effective in the game, unlike mining for which you can go into attack mode with a pickaxe. So, were I can avoid it, I turn it off - sadly making some special weapons or arrows needs wood.
What I also like about these two homes is that the mod author used the underground, it's a bit like going in to your own little cave.

Much as I wanted Camilla, I think Faendal can have her.
If there was an option to marry several - I would have picked Shahvee, Mjoll the Lioness, Lydia, Ysolda, Sylgia, wish Saadia was available or Constance Michel or even Suvaris Atheron.
As for adoption, I wish I could adopt several other than Sophie and Runa, I'd do the same with Sissel, Eirid, Svari, Knud

Sjel blad translates soul blade....
one of the largest castle mods in the game. My only gripe. I hate teleportation things to get around and the FR killer in the basement
I didn't find any issues with frame rate drops and I don't have an uber PC by any means /shrug

About the 2 vaults i know they accept only gold coins BUT will they respawning or will they stay permanently with gold inside the treasures pits ?
If the mod to have aztec coins ( like ones in Pirates of the Caraibes movies ) instead of septims coins is activated will it make the vault crashing game sessions ?
The gold stays there until you take it out:) I've no idea if mods than change the gold will work but you can always try it and see!

I found some mods which include objects have a value superior to 1 000 000 000 septims impossible to sell whatever i could buy all the items by all the mods of merchants from the entire Tamriel in just one location of trader

I really wonder how well this works with NPC AI mods, like the one which makes NPCs behave intelligently when attacked, based on power/profession/proximity to established 'sanctuaries (taverns, inns, temples, castles, forts, etc). It seems like this mod is in itself a major character's retirement home --- its own minigame, if you will.
I just love this. I downloaded it tonight for the first time. It’s exactly what I hoped for, and I hope it is soon finished
In case you didn't find out since you posted, the person who made this mod made it as an application to work at Bethesda. As you might imagine, they work there now, and haven't updated the mod since.

No but it seems a pretty common problem with mods!
This is an awesome home and was created with a serious attention to detail. However it has unfinished incomplete areas and has some serious problems with AE. In it's present state it seems to have issues that will crash your game anywhere in game foe AE. I read somewhere that the creator due to rl issues has not been able to either complete or update this mod. By complete I mean there are some areas and features marked "Coming Soon" that have not been implemented in over 2 years. It is imho one of the top 5 house mods but in it's present state it's unusable.
Aaaah shame it doesn't work in AE - even without the "new" bits that were to come!

I was wondering if you were ever going to brave this one with your penchant for getting lost, but I guess the teleports helped with that lol. Anyways, yeah Sjel Blad has always been the most amazing castles with the coolest features and yes there are more things you missed(cause it's so damn massive lol) that will take a more thorough inspection to find (assuming you decided to keep it for a while, if not no worries you got the main points of interest), but as sad as I am to break it to you the mod author hasn't updated the castle for a couple of years so it's hard to say when or if we'll ever get those 'coming soon' features (if not, still no biggie since there's already so much to play with)
Yeh fair enough - it's a bit of an Opus this place, there must come a time when a mod author gets utterly sick of it lol.

Capitalist Cole * Long answer Your right it’s not found when tying in Sjel Blad Castle.. it is still listed on the Bethesda site and is titled Sjel Blad Castle - V1.44c (Xbox One) searching for this will not work either. (There’s a way of finding something by favoriting a mod on Besthesda’s site it will then appear on your Xbox favourites list however make sure you do not have lots of favourites because Xbox will only show around hundred of your favourites (there is no menu extender on Skyrim as there is on FO4) - I just did this now by unfavouriting mods one by one until it appeared on my list) The Best and guaranteed way is to type in v1.44c be warned this mod will differ slightly from pc and is very buggy Soulbladex has promised to update this in the past and has done some work on this but he has a very busy life etc

Clearly it isn't available otherwise I would have mentioned it - and it would be also be mentioned in the multitude of other videos available for this castle. One glance at the mod description will tell you if a home has what you are looking for, perhaps it would be sensible for you to check in future before you watch anything and start making mardy comments.
