Even knowing for a fact the prank war was faked, watching the Human Giant one is still rough. It's a credit to Amir's acting how uncomfortable it is; he plays browbeaten/embarrassed unbelievably well.

Josh Ruben was probably the best Actor College Humor ever had. Almost every single sketch with him is cryingly hilarious. My favorite old school college humor video is the Grammar Nazi with Josh.

This video makes me respect brennen so much more, he caught the tail end of the college humor ride but you can tell he really legitimately loved the content before and during his ride, watching the same video enough times to be able to quote it like so many of us can. Mad respect for him

@@AddBowIfGirl maybe they mean the end, when he said in front of everyone that he didn't like Streeter's prank i.e. "That's not getting me." ... in real life, he might have tried to be fine with it (especially in front of cameras) and then later pulled Streeter aside to tell him what he thought... but honestly, I genuinely thought Amir was hurt in the video, and didn't like the video... I still don't. I'm glad it's fake, though!

So I have no familiarity with the Grant stuff because I just got a Dropout subscription early this year to watch D20. He does have a role in the newest campaign, but that's nowhere near enough context for a whole picture. I keep hearing about Total Forgiveness, but it sounds like that's just something I'd like if I'm in the mood to watch someone get ripped to shreds. Am I hot or cold with this observation?
"Girl on girl matrimony" is an amazing line with delivery that does it perfect Justice.

I really appreciate the noticeable shift from making jokes at the expense of people vs. what College Humor does now. Both old and new are so so good, but in different ways. There's certainly a more positive vibe with the new stuff. But Streeter and Josh always have a place in my heart.

I actually didn't realize Murph was in this sketch until his line when one of the partner's was on her deathbed. I first watched him from being on Fantasy High. He's always "married with glasses" in my eyes, plus he sounds so different here.
The child actors are trying their best but you can't expect them to keep a straight face in front of Josh Rubin performing comedy gold

Jake and Amir is one of the longest running, most underappreciated RUclips shows, that influenced a lot of other shows and never got the credit it deserved. I miss Jake and Amir the show and I miss Jake and Amir as comedians, really hope they go big some day. "Rolex" is one of the first Collegehumor videos I ever saw.
Also, Hardly Working and Streeter Theater were really good. I miss Pat, Dan and Josh

Man, the Amir prank was just kinda sad. Unless the bigger prank was that the prank was a prank, that's just some psychological shit. A good prank doesn't take any time to recover from and everyone laughs. If shit gets quiet and tense, no one is really feeling it, and you gotta explain to justify it, then it's a shitty prank.
The whole series was fake. Amir and Streeter revealed that at Jake and amirs podcast.
Darth Vedder What are you saying? So Amir didn't really make it look like Streeter proposed to his girlfriend and broke them up or Streeter tell the Basketball fans to cheer even though he didn't make a shot?
Yeah, I'd hope so, but then it's disappointing they'd make junk like that too. I'm not a fan of other "prank" channels that are fake, but fucked up. Doesn't matter much if everyone filming is in on it. What's the audience supposed to get out of those kinds of prank videos? Typical prank videos are supposed to induce laughter, yeah? The fucked up "pranks" are just there for drama then. Like the twatwaffle that "pranked" another person acting like he killed a person or something. Just drummed up drama rather than laughter, at which point it's not much of a prank either way.
Amir and Streeter co wrote the whole series. The events all happened but they were all staged. i.e. Amir knew that the crowd was going to cheer after he missed and Streeter (and the girl) both knew the proposal was going to happen. They didn't explicitly discuss this detail, but I suspect that the girl was just an actor.
Changing Storms the he got to meet his hero’s who explained it was just a joke and still got butthurt. Idk considering it was a real prank where no one got hurt
