Due to my love for Brennan, I choose to believe he meant they stopped accepting orders in 5 minutes, not that they actually closed.

Bro. One time I left work with my buddy, and after picking my GF up we decided to grab some Chinese food. We parked and started walking. as we turned the corner, the owner and all the employees were locking the front door. He saw us and started opening back up. we kept telling him it was fine, that he did not need to make those guys go in and make food, but he was insistent. he also barely spoke any English so any protesting was pointless.
I've honestly never felt worse in my entire life than I did waiting for my rice that night. it haunts me.
there Are places where kitchens close a while before the place does! so that is what i am choosing to believe also
The best part about the menu sketch is that Brennan clearly knew the menu. He knew the numbers of the orders and everything, he could’ve just told them what was on the menu. And that’s funny.
I realized that too! I felt the betrayal and I was sad the other characters never knew!! Suspension of disbelief is so real
i just assumed he knew the numbers in his heart like he knew what he wanted for dinner
Lies and deceptions, he knew that every chinese restaurant puts food in the same order and number so he simply ordered from his heart and got it right
No the greatest part is the entire premise is built on the idea the Chinese restaurant needs less than 5 minutes to prepare their order

My favourite part of the menu sketch is how it starts. Reikha just disinvites all of them from her birthday, and no one takes issue. It doesn't even register with them.

The restaurant I worked at, we always account for last minute orders. We used to close at 11 PM but we got paid for upto 11:30 or 11:45 and everyone on the late night shifts knew it.

This is just reminder that Brennan and Katie are geniuses. Brennan having a brilliant wide range and Katie being so good in her niche I believe that her ‘character’ is actually her.

The Jilly Jonka sketch really had to make me remind myself that it was just a sketch MULTIPLE times.
The one written by an AI had moments where it actually made perfect sense and sounded like a human wrote it. The whole thing was surprisingly brilliant.

The Avon lady sketch is hysterical...those "wellness", "love yourself", "don't change your appearance, Improve your appearance" makeup/lifestyle catalogs. Its spot on, also the Wet and Wild eyeshadow pallet she held up as the fake brands pallet its wonderful!!

I disagree. He plays a lot of roles but basically approaches all of them the same way. He has one "actor character" and plays that character doing different things. It's so unbelievable imo
@@ionarevamp Honestly I don't mind. Brennan a lot of times has very similar characters because they are reflections of his personality. That kind of stuff can be nice since it contrasts with how some other people do a variety of characters.

I just wouldn't say putting a character that's basically the same in different screenplays means the actor who plays that character has range. It's indicative of the writers' range, maybe

I think Brennen is great but people absolutely sleep on how genuinely BRILLIANT Rekah is. All her sketches are fantastic and unique and manage to be hilarious while often making really great commentary. Also her character work on d20 is so good like katia cleaver is such a brilliant layered character with so much emotion and humor. Everyone needs to stop sleeping on Rekah she’s fantastic!!
The Rick and Marty one was sooo on the nose. As a Rick and Marty fan who witnessed the weird relationship between Dan Harmon and the toxic fans online, this is exactly the embodiment of what I witnessed. Well done!

I think the biggest uptick in quality CH has had from cast additions was Rehka and Brennan and I think these sketches really show that off

The first sketch changed me when I first saw it. It made me realize that I don’t need a menu. I used to look at menus for every single restaurant or takeout place. Now I legit don’t 90% of the time
