i love how grant and jess kept talking about sex in the first segment while trapp just kept talking about bad relationships
"Capable of time travel," is such a brilliant deep cut, and surprisingly wholesome, because obviously the time-traveling DeLorean is a cultural icon, but also "The Time Traveler's Wife" is both remarkably competent as a time travel story, but also just a really fucking good romance story, and I can see a very easy connection being made between the two.
i love how in this episode all three contestants instantly understood the point of the game.

Jess lives up to the 'quiet girls are always dirty' trope... And I love it!
Everyone here has different strategies and I love them all:
Grant obviously takes a shotgun approach. Throwing a bunch of stuff out to see what sticks. Some are good, some not so much.
Jess takes a general approach. Her jokes consistently get a laugh and land.
Trapp takes the precise approach. He waits and thinks about his answers and then brings up a true zinger
That's the first time I've heard that called the Shotgun approach. I just know that as the spaghetti method.
Grant is in writers’ room mode but Sam is rewarding honesty and profundity.

Jess’s ability to win the game, while Grant’s ability to win a different game, was incredible to watch
Besides the episode where the crew are trapped in the green room together, this is the episode I have most been looking forward to coming out.
Yes. The green room/escape room was excellent! And watching Jess's mind work in this one was gold! It's nice to have this episode here where those of us who are so poor that we can't afford _any_ subscriptions can see it in it's entirety.

There are like three or four members of CH that are just *raw chaos*. You can't have more than one MAYBE two of them on a single episode of Game Changer because they're so potent.

This is one of those premises that needs its own show.
Imho all of the Game Changer spinoffs so far haven't nearly been as good as the episodes that inspired them. Make Some Noise and Dirty Laundry fell a bit flat. Make Some Noise's punts being meaningless kind of took out the competitive element and it changes the vibe.

@@Morboxx The common criticism is that the competitive edge gave Noise Boys energy, and that Make Some Noise by comparision has funny moments but doesn't have the same sort of friendly-natured competitive edge to it.
If it wants to be more of a Whose Line, I think it would either need an audience or the crew to be mic'd to give the atmosphere a bit more juice.
It's truly astounding, what a glow-up College Humor has had ever since Sam bought it.

Truly. So funny, so charming, so entertaining. It's no wonder so many people had nice things to say to her on the "don't cry" episode.
I love the different styles they have going. Jess is light-hearted and kind of goofy in an endearing way, Trapp is trying possibly a little *too* hard but you can't question the results and with Grant, you pretty much have to question the results as they range from barely comprehensible to genuinely disturbing.

My favorite part of these games is Grant managing to traumatize Sam
Their individual comedic styles shine in this episode. I love it.
