@@bats2038 the guy is being ironic
Put Batman in another time line and he's still Batman
Beacause he's batman
@Bhavya Nayyar yeah, put batman in another timeline without his gadgets, he is still batman.
No put supes in another timeline without his ability as kriptonian.
@Bhavya Nayyar You know Superman has more than his superpowers right? If you put him in another timeline without them he still has his mind and his experience.
@Bhavya Nayyar There are types of Kryptonite that decrease his power significantly and outright disables some making him the equivalent of a human. This is where things change for him, something I noticed a lot of people forget is that he is more than the sum of his powers, sure he may have super speed and super strength, etc because of the sun but he became a highly respected journalist on his own, he is an experienced fighter and no amount of power removal can get rid of that, that's what makes him interesting, even without his powers he still capable of handling a situation. A lot of people caught in the Batman vs Superman debate tend to forget just how similar to two of them actually are. If you remove Superman's powers and suit and remove Batman's suit and gadgets they would be much more evenly matched than people realize. They get so caught up in the who can instantly win that they forget how fights work, it's a struggle, a battle, not who can assassinate the other first. That's why there is an equalizer, the problem tends to be that they don't give Batman an equalizer only Superman, not realizing that they both need one otherwise of course Batman is always going to win because it's in his favor. How often do you see a fight where Superman is stripped of his powers but Batman isn't in any way? That's they tend to buff them, Batman, which again doesn't make it as fair as people think.
@Bhavya Nayyar That last part is the main explanation for most of this anyway, as long it's consistent it shouldn't be a problem but it rarely is. Also, apparently, Gold Kryptonite changes the Kryptonian cells to be similar to human ones because of magic space rock and can be permanent or temporary based on writing and not, you know, size and exposure. Anyway, you get my point, when it comes to Superman a lot of writers tend to forget that his powers aren't the only things that him Clark Kent/Superman, and Batman has been explored enough in that way, but as a duo, I believe Superman needs a bit more awareness given. I like both superheroes but I think Superman needs a renaissance like Batman has had for the past two decades. And I think part of that should be bringing awareness to the "Man" part of Superman.

Makes you wonder in this universe what Superman, GL, Wonder Woman or even Flash...Scary thought: what would joker look like in this century?
Joker would look similar to how he always looks. The only difference would probably be that he'd wear a top hat. Supes would look the same, with Clark Kent wearing a three-piece and glasses. GL would be in a similar costume to his own, as would Wonder Woman. Flash would wear something very steam-punk(ey?) and would wear the normal cop uniform or a three-piece suit. I can't even guess at facial hair because I do not want to picture either Clark or Hal with mutton chops.
@KyodaiKen1979 I don't know, I guess it depends. However it would be an interesting sight to say the least.

@@emperorjimmu9941 I'm not sure how Solomon Grundy was resurrected but I'm pretty sure its not from infection
So that half solves why he doesn't have soft flesh because he's not likely decaying since his resurrection
My best guess is magic of some sort either from being a restless spirit or someone reanimated him
I think Grundy had 2 or more different stories of how he came back to life
Jimmy Alderson It’s more than fresh zombies tend to have super strength. The old ones are weak, about as strong as your average human at best. The fresh ones are simply that strong due to the fact that there’s nothing stopping the body from utilizing its full strength. There’s a reason why when in times of extreme stress, if our body goes into the fight mode part of fight/flight, we feel little pain and hit like a damn sledgehammer. We have natural limiters ingrained into our body, as without them we’d quite literally tear our muscles apart, as it’s only in emergencies when such strength should be utilized, and it’s normally only for a short period of time, a couple seconds at the very least, and half an hour at the very most. Any more time and we tear ourselves apart from the inside out.

Man I love how he looks like an older Terry McGinnis here (Batman Beyond). Really good artstyle.
Yes, looks like Terry in JLU: epilogue
this is my DC version of what if! What if the same events happened to Bruce Wayne but he was poor growing up. His father worked as a janitor in a hospital not a doctor. Thomas Wayne spent all his money to buy his wife pearls and take her to the theater with Bruce the night they were murdered. Bruce grows up an orphan on the streets learning Gotham like no other person. He learns how to fight in prison and who the dealers are so he can rob them later to become Batman. Bruce doesn't have a Batmobile he hotwire's cars the fastest ones in Gotham. At the end of the story, he lives in the biggest crime bosses house Wayne Manner.
In DC, these stories such as Red Son, Kingdom Come and Gotham by Gaslight, are called/known as Elseworlds. In which these stories take place on different Earths
This movie is such a treat. Peppered with so many references and a stellar voice cast. It might not be the best film but it is certainly a fun one.
