- The snowstorm arrived in earnest overnight in Colorado, which woke up to several inches of snow across the metro area, more than a foot in northern Colorado and more than two feet in areas of the foothills.
Our meteorologists have been working tirelessly during the week and still manage too get the forecast wrong .

Just moved to Oklahoma City from Westminster, Colorado. Out of 15 years of living in Colorado, I've never seen this big of a storm hit the foothills.
Last time we got up to 2 feet was in 2008 or 2009, around mid to late October.
Too bad I moved, I woulda loved to experience this blizzard.
We've been getting heavy rain from this same storm, but no snow.

Damn, I didnt know it was that bad.. I was playing flight simulator 2020 and the visibility at KDEN was ZERO or close to zero with heavy icing. Took me 2 tries just to line up with the runway correctly. I bet the actual airport in Denver was closed.

@@KB-ke3fi haha. Yeah, I’m very familiar with snow and blizzards and snowstorms where it can be very difficult to drive in the Midwest but I’ve never seen anything like this. Mountain storms are way more fierce then in the Midwest.
