Excellent value, not a daily driver. I’ve come to terms that not every watch will fulfill everything, but they can check a few boxes. This is excellent to add to a growing collection.
Harry! T4YC. These Baltic watches are old yet new and strange but familiar. I can't believe how much I love them. I have a Ti Aquascaphe, a bronze Aquascaphe, and my latest is a gold MR01. They bring back fun into the hobby for me. And it's a total contrast from my normal Omegas and Tudors. I thoroughly recommend.
I prefer the Salmon 003 Bicompax model but this is a close second for me. Generally speaking, I find all of Baltic's designs super aesthetic. Cannot go wrong at this price point with a Baltic.
Just beautiful. Subdials need markers though or else they are just for looks. Very sporty for a dress watch but you could probably wear this anywhere these days. I think this watch would look amazing dressed down, my opinion.
Biased a little bit as the owner of it, but I prefer the look (and movement) of the Longines Record Chronograph. Similar dial, better movement, steel case instead of gold PVD, sapphire, bracelet option, BUT obviously that's like 5x the price. Cool release, love the look, but not for me.
That’s definitely the same case they use for their dive watch. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I don’t like the step Bezzle look. I would much more be into their gold pvd MR01 watch.
very cool looking watch but a big no for me on Seagull movements. Would have loved to have seen a sellita SW510 instead or an eta chrono movement. As a watch enthusiast, I definitely don't mind putting my money where my mouth is.
May I respectfully ask, what are you suggesting? What is as stylish or well designed as this? I look forward to you suggesting something I may have overlooked. Thankyou.

Nice review. I like what Baltic are doing with their designs.

Are these prototypes or sold models? Because on one of the macro shots, you can see the glue dots on the 11 o'clock index!
I think so, but I haven't had that confirmed yet
Great review, regarding the bezel, that is how a stepped bezel from the 40's looked like.
Bro, this is MADE IN CHINA watch sold for 10x is actual value
The stepped bezel along with the box crystal may be part of the art deco design.
Great review! Just got the release email from Baltic.

Best bet is to get the Miyota movements or the Aquascape GMT which has got the Soprod movement
The baltic bicompax 002 is one of my favorite watches
Where did you buy your vest?
After u mentioned about the "missing" bezel, i can't look past it. Great watch though!

just ordered the hms model and I can't wait to get in on my hands

Getting strong Mido Multifort Patrimony vibes.
A Chinese mouvement in that watch ?
unfortunately, yes. Missed opportunity.
The only one of these three gold models that doesn’t have a Chinese movement is the HMS 002 (Automatic Miyota 8315).
very cool looking watch but a big no for me on Seagull movements. Would have loved to have seen a sellita SW510 instead or an eta chrono movement. As a watch enthusiast, I definitely don't mind putting my money where my mouth is.
the movement looks the exact same as the Seagull chronograph
Because it is
that's unfortunate@@MichaelWilliams-mo1vv
Way over priced for that movement there are plenty of watches available out there for as little as half the price
