I passed my class 1 in 1995 on a 11ton draw bar unit flat bed. Done most work on draw bar A frame which is 100 times harder than artic, Artics were a piece of cake.
So if I go for Cat C only and drive 6x2 configuration rigid box, up to how many tons (gross weight of vehicle) I can go then?? and what's gross vehicle weight in 4x2 config (the one on the video)
Phen0mable The gross weight of the cat C in the video is 15 tonnes. Having a full cat C licence will allow you to drive any rigid vehicle, up to 32 tonnes.
Passed my C+E in this lorry with Chris at Dunsfold. Fantastic company that go above and beyond. 10/10 highly recommend.
Have things changed a lot since 2021, with free training (England)?
