Hi, great interview!!!!! (As always). Do you mind me asking where did the footage of HBO rehearsals come from? Is it on you tube or ... cause I don't seem to be able to find any. Thanks again!
Hey! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! I appreciate it. I found the footage on LaVelle Smith Jr’s RUclips channel. Search “LaVelle Smith Jr Michael Jackson HBO Rehearsal” and it should come up. It’s about a minute long. Thank you and I hope you enjoy some of my other videos too :)
Lavelle Smith Jr the time only choreography that stuck with Michael Jackson throughout all his solos concerts in his prime at TV shows and awards special performances 🙏🏿🙌🏿
Lavelle was a true friend to Michael and always gave 120 per cent to him in his work. Michael has left a lifelong impression on Lavelle as he did others that worked closely to him. It is probably because for such a powerfully famous person, Michael was humble and very down to earth. He understood suffering and embraced the suffering of every person alive with immense compassion. His compassion often got him in trouble but his compassion never stopped. In the end Michael was very tired and feeling the effects of age then he gracefully left this earth but his legacy still dances on into eternity. His message is to love and have compassion for the next person and work hard at it. This is how we learn the lesson of love or at least to start it. Their was a deep rooted spiritual side to Michael as he pursued the knowledge of a deep, abiding, spiritual love. God loved Michael so much that he took him out of this world to be with him forever. A friend always ! I love you all !
Lavell, THANK YOU for being so wonderful to Mike while he was with us, and helping him bring his creations to life with your collaboration, talent and such positive loving spirit, ❤️ Sending warm hugs and much love! ❤️ And Red, i sooo love and enjoy your videos and interviews , You are amazing! ❤️
Another great interview👍🏼 you can tell why Michael has kept some of his collaborators and friends all these years through Lavelle Smith's hard work, humility and most importantly their deep respect, love and appreciation for the man . keep up the good work Red.👏🏼
Gosh i love Levelle- he is interesting and a wonderful person- such a perfect dancer and choreographer. I would buy his book if he release / publish it. I will keep this on repeat over n over 4 ever.
He’s incredible. Thank you so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed LaVelle’s stories. Please consider checking out my “Kingvention vlog” video, where I meet LaVelle in person! It would be great if you subscribed too, it helps me a lot. Take care! 😁🙏
You’re such a sweet kid Red! So polite and prepared with good questions. Kudos to you and your channel! I’m a follower now. BIG BIG fan and admirer of Michaels 👋🏻
I was deeply saddened when Michael said to his choreographer, LaVelle, "they'll kill me", and tragically, they did. I have a profound admiration for LaVelle; he's incredibly funny, intriguing, and remarkably serious. It will be a great pleasure to read his book, I can't wait to get it. Red, I want to express my appreciation for your interviews. All the true artists seem to feel at ease and comforted by your style of interview. I have immense respect for your communication skills with your guests. I truly love it! What about an interview with Paris, Prince or Biggi? Michael's children?
. Come on, this is Michael Jackson, no one is going to force him to do 50 shows against his will. He was in debt and needed the money from the 50 shows and it’s not like he was going to be doing back to back shows for 50 nights. This was essentially a mini world tour but done in one venue over a span of a year.
@@BillBiggs1 I believe that he was given false information, claiming Michael was in debt and had to perform. He had substantial assets, including ownership of Neverland and a portion of the ATV music catalog. He received poor financial advice. He could have chosen to remain in Ireland, but when he returned to the US, he was approached by greedy people, who convinced him to perform, citing the profit motives of major corporations. This led to the increasing number of shows for 'This Is It,' with little regard for Michael's well-being. That he was strict controlled is evident when reading the bodyguards' book. In my opinion, his death was not accidental.
Wow Lavelle was and is a legend within his own right 🫶🏽 🥇. I had no idea he was behind so many of MJ’s brilliant music videos and choreography as a whole. “Ghost” is one of my favorite songs/ videos of MJ’s and the dancing in that video is just soooooo mind boggling

Ahhhh En Vogue!!! Thank you so much Lavelle for talking about your experiences for us, and sharing your talents with us alongside MJ-wonderful interview!
Hey maybe you can ask Levelle and Jamie about the time they blocked and stopped a fan or not a fan who was trying to come up to MJ. That was some fast reaction and bravery from Jamie & Levelle - and loved how Eddie,Randy,Levelle,Jamie,MJ stays so focused on the choreography / performance like nothing crazy happens/ happened...amazing how they stay in character...so perfect. Red you are great in doing this interview to LaVelle and I Thankyou so much! Hello this was a nice video to watch. It was also my first time seeing LaVelle in a video like this. I got to meet LaVelle and e few of Janet’s dancers In Cleveland ohio in 1999 after the RN1814 tour, I danced ( did miss u much & escapade) without music and I stuck each and every move with( LaVelle , Art & Terry) I was 19 then and really want to meet you all and that has and will always be a high point in my life. I really wanted to dance on the tour but I was a nobody that was very shy. Maybe someday our paths will cross again LaVelle. Take care and May God Bless You.
LAVELLE SMITH Jr. has so many countless very interesting amaaaziing stories to tell us about❣ 🌟🙏🙏🙏💖 I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MUCH MORE ABOUT his life experiences, working with dancers in various famous shows❣ I would also love to know much more about which artists with dance ensembles he choreographed!

The work that lavell ans Michael Peter’s did with Michael will always be top tier . Their styles were different Michael Peter’s was more broadway ballet infused with hip hop.
Choreographers get TOO MUCH credit?? to be sure, the dancers express the dance but they wouldn't have one without the choreographer. I think the dancers should get more serious credit, but as Vincent Paterson reveals, there are no major awards for choreo, except for Broadway shows. And they can't claim a copyright or ownership of their creation to protect it, gain royalties from use of it, etc. That's something in show business that needs to change. If it was a book or music or film, they'd have ownership and rights and royalties. But a dance choreo? Nothing.
Soooo, Iistening to this interview, great interview by the way...Uhmmm, the conversation between MJ and this amazing dancer here, regarding MJs concerns around the This Is It rehearsals, kind of confirmed some suspicions that I've always had about his death. I mean don't get it twisted, I'm very well aware of his doctor's involvement & carelessness resulting to his charges & conviction of MJs death, but......there were some details that just didn't make a whole lot of sense to me, as far as MJs condition, him still being awake and constantly requesting "medication", per the doctors claim, items found in his room, equipment, people around/in the home, etc......let me just say that some things are just obvious....if people are willing to be honest and keep it real! I'll stop there!
I always asked myself: Is Michael Jackso a way better dancer. Or are de backup dancer just not giving it 100%? Because if you compare Michael with de backups dancer, there is a grand canyon difference.

Nothing.
Queria tanto entender a entrevista toda . Num certo ponto, a tradução fica em inglês 😢 e eu nao consegui entender

Oh ok
Sadly days later he would die due to negligence
