  • @texanguitar

Would an overtightened sensor cause the sensor to not work properly? Or are we more worried about damage to the threads in the block? I’m dealing with this now and I definitely tightened mine too much. The truck does not start. Click but no rotate. Scanned P0520 and P0522 codes, both point to oil pressure sensor. Would a drop in signal from the oil pressure sens trigger a fail safe in the CPU that won’t allow the engine to start?

Bronco im in the same boat right now. 2012 5.7 Hemi, 170k miles, chk engine light just came on a few days ago and Autozone said its the oil sensor.
