Lindy I totally loved this vlog. I still have my cabbage patch dolls and my Barbies as well. It was so interesting listening to your stories. Fascinating I turn on my phone or my TV I’m always waiting for your channel to put up a new video because your stories are so beautiful. thank you so much and very relaxing, and put me to sleep which I greatly appreciate. Of course I have to listen to the story first because they’re always so interesting. Thank you again from the state of New Jersey!! You know what I find fascinating no matter where you come from everybody’s basically same like we truly are all neighbors we all want the same things and basically have all grown up the same way….its something I found out being on RUclips and listening to different peoples life stories that were much more alike than different. which is a wonderful thing. Have a great week. Esme💝🌸✌️💛🫶⭐️
I love that you've discovered that too! We are all basically the same, no matter where we are from. So cool that you still have some of your toys too! Thanks a million for always leaving thought provoking comments.
This is terrific. I think a lot of us appreciate that she doesn’t tap everything like Buddy Rich performing a solo on old The Tonight Show. The only downside is I had that Aerosmith song stuck in my head for several hours.
@@SouthernladyLindy I absolutely admire adore Gene X people I wish I was gen x I'm a millennial person so at least not gen z almost if born year after I would been gen z but thank God I'm not
I just loved this so much Lindy - it brought back memories of childhood (raggedy Ann, Mrs. Beasley and my easy bake oven were my favourites). I love the treasures you found as a child / that dollhouse would have thrilled me as a child. Thank you for your kind words, you are such a joyful presence and I’m so glad your channel exists!
I only have a couple of my childhood toys saved but I can still feel little me's joy and love for them, there's something so magical and special about that 😭❤ thank you for sharing your memories and stories, I love hearing them 🥰
That bonnet is about the most precious thing I’ve ever seen! 😍 If you’d be able or willing to make one, I’d love to see a video with your childhood clothes you’ve kept!
Lindy, you are such a precious soul. 🤗 I was smiling through this whole video. The dollhouse really does remind me of the leave it to beaver house! Your story of your Gramma was such a beautiful story, what a wonderful memory for you!! I just realized that you are only 5 years older than my oldest daughter. 😊 that topsy turvy doll is very cool! I used to loove playing with barbies too! I remember Crystal Barbie! I think that I'm having too much fun revisiting all of these toys. 😃❤ Thank you for sharing your memories and childhood toys with us! 💜
So excited for this! These are the same toys/same era for me. I become a mother later - at 40. I now have two little boys who are not interested in my girl toys. But my Strawberry Shortcake doll and my Raggedy Ann doll and my Hollie Hobby are priceless to me. Just from the beginning of this video - seeing you taking out your paper dolls - the memories come flooding back! I can even smell them, and hear the relaxing hum of the swamp cooler on a hot summer afternoon, school out for the summer, sitting in my room and playing with my paper dolls.🩷🩷🩷🩷
Loved this!! I am an avid collector of vintage and part of my collection are the Marx tin dollhouses! I would think yours is from the later 50s.. I wish I could include pictures of my collection 😂 your channel has been so fun in all things vintage ❤
Oh my goodness! I’m So happy to meet you! I never knew the doll house was a Marx. I’m going to look it up now.💕 And shoot me an email! I would LOVE to see your collection!🌞🎉
Thank you so much for your videos. I was in a little car accident today (everyone is okay) but because of the circumstances I’m going to be getting in trouble with my school and I really hate the faculty there they scare me so much and I’m so nervous for tomorrow. This was nice to keep my mind off of it for a while.

Awe! I love that you shared that with me! We could fill our playing with our toys back then, couldn’t we? Such a beautiful time in life.
You just unlocked a memory for me with that topsy turvy doll! Mine was a little red riding hood one too. I'm 26. 😊
