I hope you enjoy this soft spoken, rambling, ASMR video.
I got this idea from watching the wonderful, Mary at @Southernasmrsounds.
Last night, I listened to a three-year-old video of hers in which she talked about her past jobs.
I love hearing her voice because it reminds me of people that I know and it’s very comforting and soothing.
I drifted into a delicious sleep while listening to her last night.
I wanted to do something similar for you.

This reminds me of my southern aunts who would always beat themselves up for talking too much, but I’ve always loved hearing people “gab” and tell their stories at length. So calming and endearing! ☺️💕

How things change. I’m old enough to remember when things were more like what you’re describing here-how casual it all was…how much less complicated. I’m from Virginia. Between the regional stuff you’ve talked about, the accent, and the lifestyle, this video was very nostalgic for me. Great job!

You and I are similar age I imagine. But, listening to you reminds me of my grandmother telling me stories as I laid my head in her lap when I was a kid. The same sound of voice, the cadence, the same wording. Your vids take me back there. My Mamaw passed on years ago now. But youve really brought back good memories for me.

I live in Middle Tennessee. I have visited pigeon Forge many many times. I can just see you working at all those places. Reading a lot of the comments has broken my heart. I’m crying like a baby. All these people missing their mama or didn’t have one that was good to them. Broke my heart. You can tell you are a warm caring person. You should feel so awesome to help so many people. The story about the boys and the flame made me so mad as a mother BUT as a daughter I would have been so mad at my dad. (Although full disclosure, that’s not what I thought they were going to put in the hole, but it was so dangerous.

The purse was given to me by my grandmother. I am sure she found it at a yard sale or thrift store. I carried it to my senior prom and other fancy occasions and my daughter has used it too!

First time watching your channel. I loved this so much. Made me think of when I'd sit out on the back porch with my aunt, and she'd tell me wonderful stories from childhood with mom, or just stories about what they or the dogs had done that week. I so wish we'd had smartphones back then so I could have recorded her beautiful south Georgia voice

I love listening to these because i never had a mum, she went missing when i was 2. I had my dad still my whole life but losing her like that messed him up so he drunk all the time and never gave me attention he was always sleeping or drunk. So these make me feel special in a way sort of as much as it makes me sad but who cares lol im 19 i have worse thing's to worry about like getting money rather than being sad aha

I went to Jones Cove Elementary in 3rd and 7th grade starting in 1986. Mr. Bookhardt was principal back then. But I 1st came to Tennessee to Pigeon Forge in 1984. It was way smaller back then as you know. Today it's unrecognizable.
