This is so helpful thank you! My fiancee and I don't come from money and are currently saving to buy a house and get married. We're both working two jobs and are limiting our social life over the next two years to make this happen. Hard work but the goals are worth it! x
Yay! I love watching/listening to your videos while I do my classwork for my masters program. Your channel is the only thing that works for me while studying. Thanks for the consistent uploads and comfort. Much needed as I head into my third semester of grad school 💕

Hey! I just had my baby boy 5 weeks ago. Feeding him now and I so want to start saving and budgeting but get overwhelmed. This is EXACTLY what I need. Relaxing tips will help so much as I transition from my career to a SAHM. I’m so thankful for your insight and experience along with your stories of how you raised your home with the love of God. ❤ TY!!!
Congratulations on the new little one, Melissa! What a blessing! Thank you for the nice comment. : D I want to help young mamas out as much as I can. Take care!
This was an amazing video Lindy! I love the tips, ideas and reminders. The presentation is so important and one I’ve been neglecting lately so thank you for the reminder
Such excellent advice! Meal planning is crucial to keeping a food budget manageable, but it's been a struggle for me lately. I love the idea of having each day dedicated to a specific recipe and putting those suggestions on rotation when people get tired of them.
I love watching your videos and just listening to your voice. Your subject matter is amazing and most important you are not a cookie cutter of the other ASMR channels. I think I could just sit and listen to you recite the alphabet! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤can’t wait for your next video! Riva
I love ASMR and homesteading and I was just thinking about how different those two things are and how probably no one likes both of those things and then I find this video😂 excited to watch more!!
I love your videos, Lindy! I feel like you and I live both very different lives and also wives that are very much the same. The way life worked out for me. I am a single mom of 18 month old being home with her as much as possible was so important to me. I searched for jobs and finally found one at a hospital where I work from 2 PM to 7 PM Monday through Friday and then all day Saturday. I’m blessed to have lots of help from my mother and my sister. My sister will take her all day Saturday and then I’ll help with her daughter on Sunday and my mom helps me in the afternoons so that my daughter only has to go to daycare a couple hours a day just two or three times a week. It is such a blessing and I pray I can keep the schedule going as she gets bigger so that I can homeschool her and spend all this time with her. I love all your budgeting tips off income, but I was able to make it work so I just want to tell anybody out there if you need that second income or you’re a single parent you can. I did have to pay for this type of job but by swapping childcare with my sister and doing different kinds of hours, I don’t need to pay for childcare anymore and my daughter and I are very happy to live frugally We love all the free activities. The library puts on every week as well as only asking for museum and passes for Christmas so that we can utilize those all year, Picnic dates are our favorite weekend activity! I appreciate all your videos and also your tips and tricks in this one!
Nicky, Your comment made me smile and my heart swell! You are a great example of the saying "where there is a will, there is a way." I'm so proud of you, little sister! So grateful that you have family nearby to help, that is a huge blessing! You Rock!
Hey sweet Lindy!!! Amen Sista!! I did the same thing raising my family almost the same way…. It will pay off even if you can’t see the end of the rainbow it’s there. I also bought store brand products as well most of the time. Oh 😮 that was such a sweet thing that your son said to you….😊 when you spent the day together!!!! I know inside you felt like a job well done when see your children living the way you spent years as a mom, teacher and a role model to them and course with the help of Chris as well. It was well worth the time and effort….everything you taught them and it’s stuck in their little heads and they genuinely appreciate how they were raised with the morals and values you set. My Son❤️ is a minimalist He had the gift the poverty taught to him as well, so he has a respect for money. I was taught the same way, but doesn’t mean you don’t like nice things. Just buy them when you can afford them. That’s one of the things that I love about you and your channel the fact that you’re not pushing constant product like I see so many people on other RUclips channels doing…I am not talking about partnering up with a brands you truly believe in. I mean people are just buying and buying all kinds of stuff just for the sake of it, it’s so wasteful. It’s so refreshing watching your videos because you do not push products that I know are not worth the money. The quality 99% of the time is not there. I don’t live that way. I rather buy something better even it’s a lot more expensive if I know, I’ll use it for years one of the main things is handbags I always invest in really good handbag that I use for 10 to 15 to 20 years because I buy a great quality sometimes less is more has been my motto. This is a great inspirational ASMR video and I hope that all the young ladies and men on this channel take everything you say and think about long and hard about the education you provided here tonight. As always, Lindy it was a pleasure seeing you have a good week. I’ll be thinking about you. I hope everything is getting cleaned up after the storm hopefully they’ll get done soon.Love,Esme💕🌸🌼
Hi Esme! Yes! Quality items win out every time! I am going on year 10 of wearing a classic looking dress that I bought in 2014. I love it and still get compliments every time I wear it. On the other hand, I am a slow learner, because I've spent way too much money on Amazon clothing that wears out or loses it's shape after the third washing. It's hard, but I've had to force myself to stop shopping for clothes there. Also, thanks for noticing that I don't push products. I promise to only tell you all about things that I actually use, love and are beneficial. Talk soon! xoxo
This video excellently illustrates that it’s not necessary to speak in slow-motion, elongating every word to be “ASMR-effective.” That being said, soup…hot or cold…for breakfast is a bridge too far.

This was amazingly helpful! I am obsessed with the way you talk it’s so eloquent and beautiful! Really feels like a warm hug listening to you ❤
I’m glad it was helpful and thank you so much for the nice compliment🌞🤗
I love listening to your insight! You’re an inspiration to young moms.
Thank you so much!
I am a busy working mom of two and dinner is one of my biggest challenges. I will be trying your meal planning method. Thank you!
You are very welcome, Kate! I’m rooting for you, little sister!🎉
Pleased to hear you promoting the drinking of tea. In the UK of course we “live” on it but I always associate the USA with coffee . . .
I feel like my anxiety would disappear if I could just spend a couple weeks in the south with positive people like you. Why is Ireland so far away 😂
❤ sorry it's been awhile I've been going through some stuff. Moved to Indiana.
Great video, thank you 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Julia Pacheco is a great channel to look at for meals on a budget. She has a LOT of content on meals done cheaply. 👌🏻
That's a great recommendation, Katie. Thanks!
Your accent is so charming
