    Main Andhra se hoon n I still remember my naana nani who used to have lunch by 11 am. Light snack around 3pm n dinner by 7pm.
    Mujhe bada ajeeb sa lagta tha bec jaisa aapne kaha hum sab paashchatya sanskriti ko sab se shreshth maante the.
    Aaj unko gaye almost 15 yrs ho gaye n I realize how right they were n how healthy they were.

    मैं टीचर हूं।
    जो बच्चे सुबह खाली पेट स्कूल आ जाते हैं, उनको मैंने assembly में गिरते prayer के वक्त गिरते हुए देखा है। Fruits should be taken in breakfast. Breakfast should not be avoided. Don't give incomplete information
    Dinner should be taken by 6.00 pm
    And lunch at 12 noon.
    Your food is decided by your activity level in day time

    Honestly saying guruji told exact truth...since last 15 yrs i have been taking only 2 full meals within 24 hours and only take whenever i feel carving for food,the result is amazing,no weight gain ,no waist line increase and lastly great energy reserve for 16 hours engineering duty ....

      More than breakfast it eating heavy dinner late at night, no or minimum movement thereafter & sleeping almost immediately after dinner. This is the real cause for illness. Our generation is sleeping with undigested food which is ultimately very harmful

    When we were small we never took breakfast.We used to take tea with biscuits.Some times only tea. Only lunch & dinner. Now days breakfast is compulsory in every house.

      @@proudindian9140 Morning milk, followed by lunch by 10:30 AM, by 4 PM a cup of tea and biscuits. By 8:00 PM dinner followed by milk after some time only. Whole life he has followed same diet. Remember if you do not have habit of having milk then that might create digestion issue for you.

      My father is going to turn 90 this January, was a lawyer and is still very active. He has all through his life had 3 meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. So, it is not one size fits all....

    I always get my dinner under 7.30 pm and get up at 4 am or before in morning. ..thn I drink 1-2 glass of water and thn I make a very small cup of milk tea with lot of ginger ..I like tea in morning a lot..after 2_3 hours I get very hungry..and my wife make breakfast for me..I take lunch before 12 pm in day ..I feel healthy with this. Yes I take breakfast and it suites me. Yes sometime when I don't sleep properly..I skip it and sometimes skip lunch too with a veg sandwich or 2 apples only. But I always take dinner before 7.30 pm. I think this decipline work for me a lot.i never feel any lack of energy, although i feel fresh always.

    Excellent! Now I came to know, why I am such a dumbo... I being a foody guy, always I am eating some or the other thing and my entire energy is consumed by my stomach to digest it. Hence, I always feel tied whenever I try to apply logical brain 🧠... Yes, and I most of the time suffer through headache, because of acidity or heavy meal.

    डा. सहाब..नाश्ता व ब्रेकफास्ट भलें ही पाश्चात्य परम्परा हो...लेकिन हम यानि पूरव के वासी भी #कलेवा नाम सें कुछ अल्पाहार लेतें थें..चूंकि में हिमालय की सुदूर पर्वत श्रेणियों का वासी हूं, तो मुझें याद आता हैं कि मां सुबह के समय #कलेवरोटी कह कर चाय या दूध के साथ कुछ खानें के लिए बनाती थीं..दाल सें भरी हो, या आलु इत्यादि अन्य किसी दलहन सें..!
    मुझें लगता हैं यें कलेवा हमारी सदियों पुरानी परम्परा का हिस्सा रहा हैं..भले आज कितना ही विकृत अवस्था में आ चुका हों..!🙏🙏🙏

    आपने सही कहा बीच में कई बार ऐसा हुआ मुझे लंच करने का टाइम नहीं मिलता था तुम्हें 11:00 बजे के आसपास फलों का जूस ले लेता था और 3:00 बजे के आसपास खाना खाता था बहुत एनर्जी टिक महसूस होता था पर जब से ब्रेकफास्ट लंच और डिनर प्रॉपर कर रहा हूं उतनी एनर्जी फील नहीं होती अलग सा लगा रहता है

    But sir, disciplined life is desirable. Have light breakfast, simple lunch and simple dinner. A good time table is good to avoid acidity. I skip one dinner every week, on Monday, because I abuse myself with junk food on Saturday or Sunday after enjoying a measured alcoholic drink in the evening as a Sun-downer. I am 77 years old. I live productively and creatively. I do light exercises, ride a bycycle 30 km a week and play a musical instrument. I drive a car now and then, do some exercise to stimulate Neuroplasticity to improve my cognitive ability. 👍

      Excellent analysis, yes, everything in moderation and IN TIME. We have to allow the body to have enough freedom and space to act in its own natural way, providing some edible material to it for sustenance as the body has its own mind as far as establishing the fitness in its structure.

      @@panditjidabral2366 I don't eat junk food from the streets. Only on weekends, home junk food is prepared to enjoy along with alcoholic drink. I rarely go to restaurants. I don't order food through Zomato or Swiggy. I enjoy home cooked food. I love marine food the most. I drink alcohol only as a weekly dose and I enjoy the drink along with my lovely wife. I rarely eat sugary foods like chocolates, ice creams, cakes, mithais or cool drinks. I don't take any medicines. I eat raw turmeric with a glass of water after I wake up in the morning. I go for an annual trek. I enjoy balanced life. I walk in sunlight to produce natural vitamin D, and absorb slight UV rays too. I love nature, the blooming flowers, the hills, the sea, running river streams, golden sunrise and sunsets, butterflies, big and small animals. Is that OK ? Am I doing bad ? I live a contended life. I read a lot philosophical books, biographies, plus novels and science fiction stories.
