Aaah, the memories. Did that stretch of the Oxford Canal last year. Wonderful! There's a great little shop at Napton-on-the-Hill. We bought beautiful fresh bread and buffalo burgers. They have lots of other goodies too. Have you thought of putting gas struts under your bed frame? It would simplify your storage access.
I can endorse the recommendation of the Napton Village Shop. It is not Tesco of course, but they have lots of regular kind of stuff, and also do food to eat in or take away. It is also a post office. Nearest access point is the bridge by Napton Bottom Lock. Check the hours though!

Have you looked at putting a couple of linear actuators fitted to to bed legs and you can lift the bed remotely using your 12v batteries, might save a lot of hassle

I could see from urs eyes the disappointment when u said no Internet and tesco 1and half hrs away, that u did want to moor there. I did notice that u have ur own way of controlling the revs by using ur foot 👍. The scenery was spectacular again l loved the view with the windmill over looking the houses in the distance, Myles looked at home in the gallay is he a good cook lol? Stay safe and thanks again 😊. The long tunnel how do you know when to go through as far a right of way?
The tunnel is wide enough for two narrowboats, if you are on a widebeam than you need to book the tunnel passage with CRT.
I watch many narrowboat vlogs and I think people like to watch realtime cruising rather than speeded up. But I may be wrong.
