I had my tarps stolen earlier this year in Houston. They steal them then resell them online. I no longer put my tarps on my trailer, I leave them in the bed of my truck rolled up with a bungee cord.

JB do you use load board plus your old brokers? Also do you try to directly contact the shippers for loads. Almost done getting my cdl trying to know what’s the best approach in getting loads. I see everyone else saying wrong time to get in business but I see you doing great. Also been watching your old videos when you first got started they are helping too. Any information will be good that you give me.

I was once told 2 at the front, 2 at the rear, and two at the widest point on the load.
@@David-td5po that’s probably right. I use to haul a lot of heavy equipment, mainly cranes and we’d have to put a flag on each corner of tracks, the widest point

2 at th frnt of trk so people know .2 on th widest part of th load and 2 At back .should have a flashing light that can be seen 360 degrees around the truck which usually means one light in front on the cab and one on the back of the trailer

I know how it feels. I had a set of lumber tarps stolen off my flat bed at a truck stop in El Paso. They had a chain and binder on them with a padlock and they cut my padlock. And left the chain and binder!

JB, going down the road stylin and profilin! 😁 I was just at the MATS truck show in Louisville, and there's a company that puts roll tarp setup on goosenecks. Don't know how well that works, but I bet it beats humping those tarps. And when your empty you just go ahead and roll it back and lock it in as if you were loaded. Maybe somebody on here has experience with those. Good luck!

Problems happen because rams need TLC and people don’t do there maintenance. Ford’s are built for people who are lazier and are more forgiving but don’t keep up maintenance but when it goes it goes bad. Rams are great trucks but need to be top of its maintenance schedules

You need 6 flags dude. 2 front of the load, 2 rear of the load and 2 for the widest part of the load. So 6 total. // that load look more then 10ft long. Need 3 tie down.
