You are the second person I seen this week that said their tire came off the top of the fifth wheel. The other guys rolled under the trailer and destroyed the axle. Be safe brother.❤
I've learned my lesson if I'm not delivering to a warehouse where i know there's a forklift on site, I make sure to call in advance! Good call on getting the rail installed i did the same thing those ratchet straps take up to much time esp in the hot heat! Throw a strap over those ramps and they won't make as much noise.
You need to put corner protectors on the load before you roll out your tarps, you are going to damage your tarps. You can even duct tape them in place on the corners.
New to this channel and a newly owner operator I have soooo many questions just stumbled across your channel from a google search. Seems like I’ll be binge watching your videos today.
I barely started watching your channel a few days ago. I appreciate your videos, been educational, just subscribed now. I really like the part at the end how you brought up work ethic, week & then in letters it said “Weekend “. Great 👍🏼 video!
@jb truckn dig the motivation, it inspired me through your hustle work ethic...21 days till my authority is set...Truck paid for and trailer in full...I dig the extra trailer $$$$💯
How’d you figure out the books an all that good stuff? I’m ready to make the jump into hot shot but I just want to figure out where I need to go to start learning that before I start so I don’t fuck myself up. I was a mechanic for 7 years then I started welding on the road but now I got 2 kids at the house an I’m trying to do my own thing and be home more an still make a decent check I don’t mind going anywhere but I’d definitely love to get it like you man stay safe out there man
Im lookin to get into the career. i know i got the work ethic. I do have one question, do you book your own loads? you got your own authority or are you under a carrier? what do you prefer?
Bro where are you getting your loads, self dispatch or a dispatch service? I’m cdl hotshot and with this market I’m nowhere near what your making and I use a dispatch service that steadily grossed me 8k per week a year ago.
Solid video and content man! Very inspiring! Question: did you have to derate your 40’ trailer to keep yourself under CDL? (26k) Also keep doing you bro🤙🏼. More videos man

What size is your trailer
When I had mega ramps I would keep a ratchet strap on them to keep them from bouncing and making noise
looking to get into this game soon, really appreciate your videos.
Impressive hustle - I'm a FedEx CDL guy and not making close to that

Been hearing bad quality on BigTex.....
Put some bungees on those ramps. Helps out.

Also keep doing you bro🤙🏼. More videos man
Correct. Had to derate my trailer to 12k because my truck is 14k.
Gotcha. Thanks for replying. Also
what would be your best advice for someone wanting to get into hotshot trucking?
can't you strap down the ramps to reduce the noise?
Sir
How do i start a business doing short haul only. I live in the California area (orange county area)
Look like u getting it, so pat urself on the back. I salute u bruh. Im looking to get in to trucking after cdl school. Do u suggest single or dually trucks?
Dually if you get your CDL..
How do you get to load up on Friday and drop off Monday? Do you ask the customer are broker?
Most receivers aren't open on the weekends so you have to wait until Monday to deliver unless it's urgent.
How do you catch your loads
What’s your email ??
