    Great content Alex. Keep the mix you have going. Cool vibe. I am super excited to get into Hotshot. Wife and I are selling and buying a new house in September, then I start with CDL training in early October while in parallel completing all the new company start up paperwork, buy securement items, cab items, tools, and most importantly truck & trailer. I was going to go into this non-CDL but after further research I am going to obtain my CDL from a local trucking company with a good reputation. Thanks again for your earlier comments. Good information sir. Thinking of going hotshot currently drive big truck for a carrier. I have a 2012 ram3500 just need a good trailer. My truck is not rated to tow as much as the newer omes. Could you do a video explaining how DOT deals with hotshots, and how you determine load distribution as to not overload your axels? I do dry van, so i slide my tandems to even the load out so curious how you do it.

    • @Mr.AlexKogan
      @Mr.AlexKogan  9 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you!
      I really wouldn’t know what to say about DOT dealing with hotshots. I haven’t had any interactions with DOT besides random safety inspections twice. We as hotshot drivers pull into weigh stations just like semi drivers. I believe DOT pays more attention to semi trucks vs hotshot. I always see semis being pulled over and rarely hotshot. As for load distribution you always want majority to be over the axles and then spread the rest forward. You never want to go super heavy in the front of the trailer because then the ride becomes uncomfortable. You’ll really feel the bumps and imperfections in the road. I’ll try to do a video on that sometime but can’t promise it’ll be very soon.

    • @Mr.AlexKogan
      @Mr.AlexKogan  6 месяцев назад +1

      Well, the question is, how many calories do you consume the rest of the 6 days of that week. Most likely you are overeating the amount of calories that your body requires to maintain your weight. I figured out what my caloric intake need is to maintain my weight and I subtract 500 calories per day from that and at the end of the week it adds up to 3500 calories which is 1lb of body fat. Pretty much I put my self in a calorie deficit 6 days a week and then Sunday is my cheat day so I eat whatever I want. That way I don’t gain fat. Plus the more you can attend a gym the better. 👍🏻
