FREE PO 32 kit: free TR-909 drum kit (data transfer included) | Teenage Engineering pocket operators

This is my attempt at creating a TR-909 PO 32 kit for Teenage Engineering's PO-32. I used the same approach I "developed" when I created the TR-808 PO 32 kit, namely using my TR-909 as a point of reference. I also checked the final sounds against the amazing TR-909 Microtonic preset bank and I have to say I'm surprised that my PO 32 kit - as far as the kicks, snares, percussions and claps are concerned - sounds pretty close to an actual TR-909. Replicating the TR-909 hits was so much fun, mainly because Microtonic makes creating high quality drum sounds a piece of cake. However, hats and cymbals are a whole different story as the Microtonic lacks a couple of features that prevent it from sounding ultra-authentic in this regard. So, this is - after quite some experimenting - as close as it gets, I'm afraid. In my opinion, both the closed and the open hat sounds pretty close - the crash and the ride don't sound like TR-909 crashes and rides at all. Nevertheless, I decided to keep them in the kit because why not, right?
