    I hear several classic riffs from very early Detroit techno and Acid House tracks in there. 😂

    Sound #16 sounds like a Theremin. I haven't tried this yet, but isn't it possible to load this onto the drum kit of the PO-35?

    • @wiggesobk
      @wiggesobk 2 года назад

      Yes you can load it into the PO-35 and PO Rick and Morty as well ✌

    freebeat, what are your thoughts on the tx-6 that just came out today?

      You need a child’s hands to operate it, and a mid-life crisis to justify a purchase.

    Hey Free Beat, can this patch be loaded on to the drum section of the PO-35...?

    • @FreeBeat
      @FreeBeat  2 года назад

      I believe it can, but I could be wrong.

      @kleptoliapennyfeather6078 2 года назад +1

      The drums can be loaded in, but not the patterns because PO-32 has 4 drum tracks. PO-35 has one.

    Do the drum and lead tracks not choke? Great idea, never regretted the PO12 more 😅

    • @FreeBeat
      @FreeBeat  2 года назад +2

      They do choke, so you have to be strategic with your sequencing. However, it's actually a pretty fun limitation, brings out lots of new rhythmic ideas!

      @@FreeBeat I was listening for the choking in your groove, and couldn't find it 👍

    I have to admit, I've never had much interest in Pocket Operators before this video, and I probably still won't buy one new (I'm currently saving for a Novation Mininova to replace a Xio 25 that was a long term loan but has become integral to my computerless setup and it has to be returned soon) but being able to load different sounds is pretty cool. The tonic is definitely going on the maybe one day list. I'll keep an eye out for one second hand probably. I'm surprised by the sounds you were getting our of something so limited.

    • @FreeBeat
      @FreeBeat  2 года назад

      Yeah the Tonic is one of the most versatile PO's, and arguably sounds the best. I was able to pick mine up around $60 used a few years ago, and I've never looked back haha. Hoping you get one sooner than later :)

    Just watched TE’s vid for their new TX-6 mixer. It’s exactly what I’ve been searching for, but I was *absolutely gobsmacked at the €1199.00* price tag.
    WTF, TE? That’s more than I paid four years ago for my OP-1. I am so angry and outraged, I am seriously considering selling *all* of my Teenage Fashioneering collection, because that asking price erases my interest in any future products from them. End of the road.

      @@FreeBeat Yes, good video Free Beat. I agree with what you said. I’ve calmed down a bit, and won’t be selling anything, but good grief - the audacity! And I was ready to pay 4 to 5 hundred. What a shame.
