Brother thaaank you ! No one shows the places for each O2 sensor this is great help i was looking everywhere
The detail in this video was amazing, this was a huge help for my bank 1 sensor 1 replacement :-)
Great job getting in there and getting it done. You rock!
GREAT Video my friend. I spent 90 minutes trying to figure out where the Bank 2 Sensor 1 was. This is the only thing I found that was crystal clear. I changed it out and thought maybe I had changed the wrong one, but your video confirmed for me that I did actually change out the correct sensor. Thanks! Heading back to parts store to get $70 refund for the second one I purchased.
Glad to help! Thanks for the kind words too. Good luck on your fix. Keep us posted on your progress and what codes you were able to fix. You might help someone else later. Have fun keeping those hands dirty. 👍👍

Do you know if the fuel pressure regulatory is located in the gas tank in a 2011 dodge grand caravan
Where is the EGR Valve?
Will a 2017 Dodge grand caravan will have the same setup?
I know you have a 2019, just wondering if the 2017 will be the same.
Very awesome and very detailed video.
Very good job!!👍👍
They are the same I have a 2016
I have a Mitsubishi Outlander 2019 with a problem .... Surging rpm when a/c on only ....and no codes
Scottie, I watched the video hoping you'd show where the Idle Air Control valve is. Any idea, or direction you could point me in? Thank You!
I have looked at a few distributors to try and find a picture of one so I can find it in a video for you, but not one place lists a IAC valve for the vehicle. Maybe it's all a part of the electric throttle body? Do you have a part number by chance?
Fun fact actually the evap canister is simple to remove requires you undoing the obviously the one canister bolt but you also have to undo the gas tank strap back bolts only hope this helps someone out
Should also mention do not attempt this with a full gas tank make sure its almost empty
Good to know man. Thank u . Helpful .
Please Where is EGR valve located? Dodge grand caravan 2016 !!! Helpmeeeeeeeeee
I currently have a P0430 code
Hopefully you can help.....2014 3.6 just replaced bank 2 cat and both sensors. Also replaced a rocker arm. Now getting a P219b air/fuel ratio code. I thought I had a leak in the manifold because I over tightened and slightly cracked the plastic but after replacing I'm still getting the same code. It's frustrating because the van is driving better than it ever has! Any advice??
Did you ever figure out the issue?
Do you have a video on intake sensor for the Dodge Caravan GT
I do not at this time, sorry.
Great Video!! So many only show the rear sensors. Quick question, do you know if all four are the same sensor (same part number) or if they are specific to the position; ie: sensor bank1 sensor 1 is p/n number xxx1, sensor bank1 sensor 2 p/n xxx2, etc...?
I was about to ask the same thing.
I need to know this same thing . Please let us Know. Lol thanks
Anybody get this answer
All 4 sensors are exactly the same one except the length of the wire,
The Downstream Rear sensor ; Bank 1 Sensor 2 has the longest wire,
The other 3 sensors are the same length .
Bosch oxyegen sensors have the same part number, same length of wire for all 4 sensor.
Other brands need to buy 3 sensors of same part number
3 x (Downstream Front; Bank 2 Sensor 2 or Upstream Front; Bank 2 Sensor 1 or Upstream Rear; Bank 1 Sensor 1)
1 x sensor of different part number (Downstream Rear; Bank 1 Sensor 2)
if you need to change all 4 sensors !
Chrysler told me I need to replace my fuel pressure sensor, but I'm hearing all kinds of answers as to where it's located: filler neck, fuel line, fire wall, under the intake manifold, ... I was desperately hoping it would be pointed out in this video. Any answers?
I believe it's between the engine and the firewall under the hood. If you fallow the fuel line from the fuel injectors to the firewall, you should find it.
I have p0430 2013 Dodge grand Caravan is it the front or back one?
That can be your bank 2 sensor 2 faulty or your bank 2 Cat going bad.
Need help dodge grand caravan stalling and I have did all type of things still not working
Any check engine lights? Have you checked fuel pressure?
Hi my friend. I have a 2011 VW Routan S. I tried to change the pcv valve. But it's different
Do you want to send me a couple pics of your valve covers and around? Maybe I have a video or can explain it to you. Shoot me a email to therealscottieshobbies@gmail.com

Is it the same setup for a 2012 Town & Country?
No but if you search my library, I'm sure I have a video covering that van. Search 'scotties hobbies caravan' or 'scotties hobbies town and country'. I should have one.
So what is right and left catalytic converter locations? Is right rear and left front?
You don't really have a right and left catalytic converter. You have a bank one and bank 2 catalytic converter. The bank 1 cat let a converter is right behind the bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor. The bank 2 catalytic converter is right behind the bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor.
And by behind the oxygen sensor I mean downstream from the oxygen sensor.
I have a p0420 catalyst effiency below normal (Bank 1)
That bank looks hard to get to.
The vans god a lot crammed into a little place especially with the exhaust. Good luck. Let us know what it ends up taking to get thang fixed.
@@ScottiesHobbies Thanks for responding. It was the transmission filter 😑 clogged up. Put a new one on problem fixed lol
@@TIvzTIP18 How does a trani filter cause an O2 sensor voltage issue? Unless the wiring connection was bad and changed when the trani was serviced
2017 Caravan. I can't find the EGR valve bor can I find it in parts stores. Is there one?
Off of the top of my head I do not know. But if you take a picture of your underhood label and send it to me I can for sure let you know.
I called two Dodge dealerships. They both pulled my vin and said mine does not have an EGR valve. I'm trying to fix the small shuddering at idle. 97k miles. New plugs, air flow sensor and throttle body cleaned. Gives catalytic converter smell in cab only when I accelerate quickly. No warning lights or codes.
My 2014 dodge caravan says bank 2 fault running to rich that would be bank 2 sensor 1 right p0175
Yes. Or you could have a spark plug not sparking correctly or maybe a leaky injector.
@@ScottiesHobbies yea it end up being a bad o2 sensor
I have a P219A. Anyone know what I should replace?
Maybe try this video out? ruclips.net/video/_3rIg-YwTbE/видео.html
Hey I have a specific question about error codes p0430 and p0420 for my 2012 town and country. Can you help?
Possible, ask away. If I know the answer I'll help ya out.
@@ScottiesHobbies ok so, I have both codes. In your video showing different parts under the hood you stated that code p0420 would be for the sensor bank 2 sensor #2. What about for code p0430? Would that be for bank 1 sensor 2? Also, are the sensors the same for all 4 (bank 1&2, sensors 1&2?) Or do they have different specifications? One seems to fit in all of them.
The p0430 would be bank 2 cat converter. It is possible the bank 2 sensor 2 o2 is bad. If the code continues after you replace or test, the cat is probably bad.
@@ScottiesHobbies do you know about the oxygen sensors part #'s? It looks like each catalytic converter has an o2 sensor in between cat and engine and in the middle are those the same part #'s? For some reason when I shop for aftermarket I get to different model #'s for say a Bosch it's telling me 11510 for downstream and a 18125 for upstream. I wasn't aware we had a downstream o2 sensor or is that the sensor in the middle of the cat it's just looked at as downstream?
Is it Hard to replace that PCV valve??? I have to change the one in my 2013 Grand Caravan. Advance Auto Parts sells it for less than $50 and I want to try to replace it myself because the dealer would charge me $160 to do it
This was a super easy job. You can buy the pcv from the link in the description too. If you have any questions, ask away.
@@ScottiesHobbies thank you very much. I'll try to do it myself!
Make sure you get the deep 6 point socket and extension, it will be cake.
Good luck with your project.
@@ScottiesHobbies and it is a t20 screw,right?
Where is egr valve located?
What year is your vehicle?
Im getting codes can you help
Maybe. What are you chasing?
The sensors not seen Here are the ones that are the hardest to change .
And thats the : KNOCK SENSORS .
There are 2 knock sensors .
Good luck with those. 😂
True but those are not in this video. I do have some knock sensor vids if you look but this video covers your most commonly looked at emissions components for emissions checks and these parts are your most common emissions components that fail.
Good luck on your DIY fix. Thanks for the comment and view.
