- In this video you will be watching of how to replace the upstream o2 sensor for 2005 Dodge caravan 3.3L engine..Unfortunately for this repair i did replace the old O2 sensor[Denso] with the Bosch brand but theres still no activity on the heater circuit ..Thats the only available brand on my area ill keep u updated if the check engine will comeback
I also have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.3L V-6 engine.
I will be removing my 'upstream' (before catalaytic converter) O2 sensor
to clean & reinstall, to solve my constantly-on 'Check Engine light' issue.
I don't think it's mandatory to remove the windshield wiper arms & cowl to access the O2 sensor.
But if you must (for greater access room), then I would take off the wiper arms with the hood down.
To remove the wiper cowl, I'd remove the accessible screws (hood still down), then
open the hood to get to the hidden screws and wiggle the cowl out carefully.
Thanks! Good vid
Glad you liked it!
Got the same issue in an 2004 Chrysler Grand Caravan. Mechanics said there's only one OEM part in all of Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. These minivans are getting too old to find replacement parts.
