Bank 1 is the side with cylinder 1 - on this vehicle, it’s on the back rear/firewall side of the engine by the cat. Bank 2, being the side with cylinder 2, is on the front facing the radiator.

@@YOUCANIC I have the OBDLinkmx which gives me a lot of info on what is going on. I have the dreaded P0420 And P0430 codes. How do I know whether it’s my oxygen sensors or the catalytic converter itself. Is there a tutorial somewhere?

did the #2 downstream (P0430 hopefully) in 10 minutes with a 7/8 open end from under it. Had to kick it with my foot it was so tight!

So are both sensors the same part number? They look similar but looks can be deceiving.

How does the wiring connectors look like? are they all the same?
Are all 4 sensors (B1S1, B1S2, B2S1 and B2S2) the same?
3 are the same, 1 wire length is different.
So there are two more sensors near the firewall? Remove them from under the car?
