I loved it. platinumed it yesterday, without really pushing for it except the Namekian balls and special finishers. Its just going to be a never ending game I feel, playing with friends and online non-stop.
Easy farm to get dragon balls: - baby oozaru - world martial art arena - getting out of the ring = lose - when the fight begins, Just do the flame blast attack(R2 + ∆)and you Win in 4 seconds
Fun fact: Both fused zamasu & corrupted fused zamasu their ending where he wins has 2 variations, 1 for beating vegito & another for beating trunks. The same goes for i think atleast 2 of the bonus battles.,1 i don't remember remember, but the other was beating Frieda as ginyu without body changing
So, you didn't get walled from continuing gokus story. You accidentally unlocked his alternate path, that's why it's blue. I got the plat on this 2 days ago, and some of those alternate endings or sparking episodes were hell to unlock Also, there's a finite amount of super dragon balls that you can get. You get it for gokus saga, 1 from jirens saga, and 2 from trunks alternate endings. If you complete one of these while still holding a set of super dragon balls, they will be wasted. One more tip, if you're having issues with a mission and it's main path, just switch the game to easy, and you'll complete it just by beating it. Playing on easy locks all alternate endings.
Yeah I figured that out later. Didn't realize that was a feature in the game at first Oh well. That's kinda dumb that they're finite but I don't need super shenron for anything else anyways Nah, mama didn't raise no coward. I'm gonna get good and beat the CPUs with honor
i am about to platinum this myself only three trophies left 30 bonus battles and then 3 and 100 fights online. the story mode really gets you good at this game though lol
yeah man, i was excited to kinda see the story again, but the fact they split it up makes it so fast to end some sagas and the slideshows doesnt make it so exciting to see different branches
I really preferred this rather than yet another story mode that we've already done 1000 times. the whats ifs are great and are more important than the original story itself. and doing them from each character's perspective is more interesting.
Funny how, when I did Goku Black's story, Trunks immediately used his ultimate on me, getting me that ending. Honestly, I was angry for a bit, but now I'm glad that I did it
@noobsnipah yes! My friend and I play quite a bit, the only part that wasn't so fun was the porunga grind, I think I had about 4 Shenron summons before I got my first Porunga.

Skipped the breakers accidentally cause i forgot about you. Something tells me that platinuming every dragon ball game is your plan here. You already did XV1 and 2, Breakers and now Sparking Zero. Maybe try an older game, like Raging Blast 1 or 2, or the older Budokai Tenkaichi games, or even Kakarot or Fighterz.

Your profile picture gives me so much nostalgia for my Platinum I feel the most proud about😌 At first I was mad because I had to get a PS Plus membership just to get the Platinum,never been an online player and never will (I spent countless hours playing against the CPUs in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 simulating battles and I’m fine that way),in fact I just picked Frieza Soldier to lose instantly most of the times and Saibaman occasionally to make him explode while I only had like 4 serious matches (which I won,heh),but if it wasn’t for the online trophies I never would have played Doki Doki Literature Club (which is free with a PS Plus membership at the time I’m writing this comment) and I also got the platinum for that game as well so,good thing the cost of the membership was worth it in the end,albeit for a different reason lol.

Ooh you missed out on the raging blast games. Raging blast 2 is my favorite dragon ball game. Don’t get me wrong I also love the budokai and tenkaichi games too
FYI you lost out on some Super Dragon Balls forever, Future Trunks saga and one other I forget which rewards you with a full set, but if you already have them then they disappear forever
I feel like the toughest dragon ball game to platinum is fighter Z and I couldn't do it but i wanna see you getting platinum for fighter Z ! i think you can do it.
For the missions with a time requirment, the game is VERY misleading with its description. It's actually just "win without falling below a certain amount of health". Its easy to see this in some fights where when you lose too much health you'll hear dialouge from on of the characters, indicating you failed.
The ToP arena for the episode battles (Jiren, Goku, Gohan and Frieza) are bugged where that soft lock will happened every now and then. Has happened to me 3-4 times
Depends on how much time you put into it. I played the raging blast series a lot so I’m used to the gameplay. A friend of mine who isn’t used to it is finding it hard to understand a bit
It’s not gonna take 15-20 hours. The Average time on Xbox right now is 30-40 hours. I’m assuming the person who made that guide had the ultimate edition or something

Platinum isn’t amazing it’s the achievements that’s amazing I rather earn 100 points for just one achievement then go earn trophies Sony should change their trophies to achievements their the only ones that’s going by trophies 🏆
No, it incentivizes getting better at the game. It was the exact same way in the original games too and alot of other games, you're walled out until you're better at the game. It shouldn't all just be easily accessible, some stuff you gotta work for.
Man I’ve clocked in 67 hours got 42/50 trophies been just playing the only ones I need are the trophies for the 3 Remaining episodes i have yet to complete they actually do take a good chunk of time and I’ve been getting all the extra bonus objectives as well like for example if I chose to stand there and let video get hit I would go back after and decide to help videl I’m milking this game for all its worth. And I haven’t felt so much fun and love for a game since raging blast 2 I would love playing 1v1 co op with my friends and family they loved it as well and well 12 years later and guess what there’s no infinite time limit there’s no CO OP IN THE TOURNAMENTS LIKE WHAT- WHYYYYYYY😂 I’m sure they’ll fix these minor issues but idk

U can do it with goku black r2 triangle too
you can also make hercule your opponent, and use zamasu R2+square to insta knock him out, 1 second ko

I got the last trophy a few days ago and i was lucky to find a friend willing to play 30 matches a night sometimes and it made it so much easier.
That definitely made the online matches go quicker than playing randoms online

Only a bit for one of the what ifs for Goku. The canon great ape vegeta fight I did first or second try
I dislike the fact that you can't access What If scenarios on Easy Mode.
It alienates the less skilled players of the game.
I believe you can use dragon orbs to do just that. I'm pretty sure I remember reading they could do that. I just never used them.
