The Battle Training goes over a lot of this too. It seems a lot of people skip doing the training mode that has a curated environment to practice all this
I think you gave an incorrect information. You can’t revenge counter when you’re being hit from the back, or at least that’s what the tutorial of the game says.
@@Al0str0sssame but i found out that when hes about to shoot u with the beam that comes out of his mouth (pause), u just dash up into the air charge ur ki then try and hit him with a kamehameha before he can block, still pretty hard because once u get him pretty low he'll start dashing at you more but it should get easier. once i attempted to do it on my own account, i got it first try
genuinely dont understand why everyone says story mode is hard, you just need to know how to block chain and do pretty basic combos into a few supers on repeat, the hard part about the game is online where you need to read ur opponent 24/7

Everyone, go train. I got so much better just by training with Piccolo and doing standard training for about an hour and some change. Defense is the key to winning!
TIP: 1 bar = 10’000 health. So you can practise combos with ultimates and if you hit 30k DMG you know that is 3 bars, you’ll learn what combos will kill you opponent before you use your combo

this vid is amazing. i havent played since i was a kid playing tenkaichi 2 and 3. this video does an amazing job of explaining the things the game doesnt or doesnt make essily noticable. i went through gokus story being a button masher. this video will absolutely help you
13:24 one thing to note is each section takes a bar of ki, so even if you don’t go over the line(doing so will fatigue you) you can still run out of ki and become fatigued even if you win.
Thank you for explaining how to turn enemies around to hit them from the back. I've been trying to step around them this entire time. You're the only person so far Who's properly explained this mechanic
Well, I guess this is up to personal preference. But, I would argue that it is better to activate sparking and then immediately start trying to set your opponent up for your Ultimate. Combos from the front can be interrupted with perception, super perception, High-Speed Evasion, and Revenge Counters. Combos from the back or front can be interrupted with a Super Counter. So, if your opponent is decent at fighting, you probably need to set up for and launch your ultimate as soon as possible because every punch could be the end of your offense.
Basically what I have just realised moments ago.. Is that quickly means.. Before the mission ends.. These tend to be the missions that end before you can beat the opponent.. So the aim is to defeat them before that timer... I'm hearing talk of 3minutes
Best guide for this game yet. Every other guide they be giving mininal info...like ok i understand i need to do what your saying but TELL ME HOW IT ALL WORKS AND HOW TO DO IT LOL. Thanks again bro, new sub for this W of a video. ❤

If there's one thing I love about this game, it's how it truly does emphasize that you're going to get your ass handed to you if you simply don't train. Spending time with Piccolo and training genuinely makes you better, which is basically like one of the key points in Dragon Ball
Awesome guide! Just a correction for Rush Chains! Not all characters have a turn around rush chain. Scouter Vegeta for example does not. Their graph thing can also indicate it when their combo section is not as high, but it's not always the case You can also view a character's rush chains through the Explanation of Controls menu in the Rush Chain Actions section. That way you don't have to spend so much time experimenting! Through this menu you can also see special potential Rush Chain finishes.
With the story mode what ifs? The ones that are "defeat quickly" or "deplete life quickly" there's always a specific bit of dialogue that is the cut off point. If you figure out which bit of dialogue it is you can just go ahead and retry the match as soon as u hear it.
Great video! Just one thing I think is worth notign is that with the Speed Impact thing, the first phase is waaaay more important than the second in which you have to button mash, I tested it with my friend extensively and if he had hit inside the circle, and I outside, regardless of how much I mashed my X I would still lose the clash

In sparking mode, sometimes my ultimate attack won’t activate. I can see it trying but won’t. Is it positioning? And if so how do I know when it will work and when it won’t? That’s been a HUGE problem for me.
The chains, like xxxy or □□□△, can also change depending on which way you hold your left joystick when pressing y or △. You can send them upwards or into the ground or a side attack. ALSO heard you can deflect ULTIMATES with O or B if you have 3 skill points! Haven’t had a chance to try yet though.
I think the best advice for this game is just play, lower your difficulty, play and have fun, eventually you will get good and get the hang of it, go through the tutorial training with piccolo more then once, I go through it about every 3 days I play. Getting your basics down will help but this game is overwhelming as far as how many moves and variations of moves there are.
Awesome video. Finally I know a lot more (even so I am still terribly bad at the game). Now I would just like to know why my opponent always has more Skill Points then me (him: 3-5 / me: 1-2) and why sometimes, even so I don´t do anything, my Skill Points just go down to zero again.
Thanks for this tenkaichi 3 was one of my favorite games and I waited 17 years for this only to realize I am now an old man that sucks at fighting games and forgot how to play them.
