  • Thanks for tuning in!
This weeks video is very informative and full of great tips that may make your cabinet building and installation in your teardrop a little easier. There are many ways to build cabinets, but this is how I build mine. Notice that I build mine with mostly basic tools. The exception being the Kreg Jig. If you end up buying this Jig you wont be disappointed. As I have mentioned in the past, it comes in super handy in more than one place in the teardrop building process.
Apologies in advanced for not having actual install footage of the interior cabinets. If you need assistance during the install process please feel free to refer to the Facebook group. DIYTCC (DIY Teardrop Campers Community) We host thousands of other builders and enthusiast that are always happy and willing to share great information.

I've found those pocket holes to be very problematic and good at splitting wood depending on the grain. One thing I did to virtually eliminate the problem is I use a flex shaft in my drill and the bits that are in a hexagonal piece that fits into the flex shaft and I drill pilot holes before I screw things together. I like the pocket holes for building things it's just a problem I experienced with them. Drilling pilot holes resolved it for me.

Thanks for watching! I appreciate the input. Have you used the kreg jig? That's all I use. Never had that issue. Just curious if the difference is the tool.
