    Coolest, best percussion piece I’ve ever heard. So glad it was captured on film. Amazing work.

    I was fortunate to be able to see Max Roach perform live several times in the early- to mid-90s. What a treat! But, I never had the opportunity to see anything like *this!*

    Honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this. I've always wanted to know what these M'boom cats look like playing this shit. Incredible, a true fucking paragon. Does anyone know what kind of gong that dude is playing at about 22:14? I want one of those. The camera work at 18:17 ish is awesome by the way.

    I think this is Joe Chambers' composition?

    • @leahbowden1
      @leahbowden1 7 лет назад +1

      No, but please see my comment above for titles/ composers featured here. Joe Chambers is performing however--He rocks those tubular bells especially.

    • @leahbowden1
      @leahbowden1 7 лет назад

      Actually see my comment above again if you will. I updated it to identify all three tracks. The final section is for sure Jihad Es Mort by Joe Chambers so yes, one of the three tunes here. It's the third track on their album M'Boom Re:Percussion.

    Remove crude language

    • @MattFittPhoto
      @MattFittPhoto 7 лет назад +3

      Language which seeks to express authentic joy and amazement is never crude. Let go of your preconceptions of those words and instead try to hear what the speaker is honestly feeling.
      Good luck.
      Peace.
