Man, I need to run to Tuesday Morning! Or find one (we used to have one local but it moved), what amazing pieces! I absolutely LOVE your taste and eye! The way you have curated this collection is incredible! There are just so many pieces I would have never guessed aren't actual vintage! And I love you pull from all different sources to find your pieces, that's what I love to do too. The joy of the treasure hunt 🎃🧡! My favorite cats were the one with the missing ear and the one holding a baby cat, great cats! I love your content so much 🎃🍂! I hope all is going well with the kitchen situation and in general. 3:20 that one’s cool because it looks like maybe a child is wearing a cat costume… or some person is wearing a dead cat on her head, which is kind of creepy either way!! Kind of funny, totally vintage Victorian.
I have a cornucopia cat holding a tot pail that I'm pretty sure is very old that I found in a 1 bin at one of our local thrift stores. It's one of my prized possessions.

I have a few of the same pieces - love primitive Halloween black cat figurines. I NEED to find that Walmart 2017 kitty!
I also collect black cats. Used to collect all cats but that got out of hand so decided on just black cats. Kind of fussy, though. Don't just buy because it's black. Don't really like the vintage ones - they have scary faces. Also don't like the cutesy types.
I've owned two of them and hope this time to have another. My sister bequeathed me her tuxedo cat - he was quite a character.
This season coming up (Halloween) is prime time for expanding my collection.

This is gonna sound a bit silly but what is patina??? Is it like varnish???
It’s sort of like an aged look to the surface of an object that it would gather over time I think
