The dog at 5:08 is a "Farthing dog". The Shiba Inu family do exist and they are also quite cute. The mice at 7:28 is the 2006 version of the Hamster family.

I wish the hamster family weren’t discontinued, I was obsessed with hamsters as a child and it would do something for my inner child to have that family.
