- In this Halloween Decor DIY video we are doing three easy thrift flips that just require paint! They all have a really haunted and classic look. The items thrifted are pretty easy to thrift something similar. The painting skills needed are pretty beginner level.

I really like these decor ideas for Halloween - it's so easy to find those little houses at yard sales - the same with old pictures - if you can't find spider webs, you could always paint them with a thin brush!

You would have no problem finding spider webs at my house. I clear them from the rails and shrubs and by the next morning, they're back. That whole display turned out awesome, thanks for the inspiration. I had to subscribe to your channel from that display alone.

Aww I wish we could have seen the process of painting the ghosts. It turned out so nice.
They were two brush strokes each. In the video playback I actually skipped it because it was so quick it didn’t look like anything happened and didn’t make sense.
Yes, I would have loved to see them in action. Especially the houses. I’m looking to do something like this but want a bit more color to the brick or something for stone. But those are all beautiful too.

Theres an artist in my area who turns old prints into seriously creepsy, bizarre paintings. Skeleton faces, ect. I wish i could affttheir work. Its amazing

You need to find Garden Orb spider webs. My OCD is always impressed with the perfect symmetrical webs. They are true art. And they remake them every day.

Awww man I'm reminded of going out into my parents' yard as a kid and seeing the little pools of pale grey light dotted across the grass in the quiet of the morning! When I was little, I asked what they were, and mom said they were cups made of spider webs, and that was how they got their morning coffee. 🤣
I see them less often now, but it still fills me with joy and wonder to catch a glimpse of one.

The ceramic houses would also look good with hand painting washes over them, and changes little things like colors of the walls and what it says on the signs. Add little cauldrons, cats, brooms, etc. Much cheaper than purchasing the villages!

As long as they are cobwebs (abandoned webs) I'm fine with it. But a web that has a spider actually living in it, just seems mean. It's the spiders house.
No spider was there. I don’t think anyone is spray painting spiders and sticking them to paper. 🤭
