I missed the live session today, but I'll answer your question about what feeling I get from Tr3mp. Being confused by the 1st half of the debate, I began doing things around the house with the TV volume still on. We are near in age Milou, so you'll know what I mean when I say many of us have the skill of listening, not hearing, but actually listening. It comes from growing up listening to the radio for everything. I heard and felt one person highlight policy and their results. I heard another person arrogantly raise his voice, false bragging how everything was better when he was around because he was the one around. No policy, no facts, ALL lies. This is exactly what you highlight when you describe your experiences with dictatorships. You're right on target Milou. On another note, I come from a culture that values the wisdom of our elders. The more difficult times you get through, the deeper the wisdom you are blessed with. A father who buries his children and stands by them when they are enduring public humiliation is far wiser than one who sits on gold plated toilets. I value your intuition Milou. ✌️❤️👍🌞

He ought to do both that, as well as start the court review process of the charges concurrently, so the public can at least see what Trump did to subvert the 2020 election. I don't believe SCOTUS will act before the election.

I believe that if the GOP implodes, we ought to get rid of the electoral college. Perhaps this might enable different parties to form and also allow 1 person 1 vote, i.e., the popular/ majority vote wins vs. the electoral college skewing voting results to a candidate who lost the popular vote. This would also entail increasing the number of senators per state to match the size of the population they represent vs. only allowing each state 2 regardless of size.
Milou I am real hurt and angry that some of the top Democrats want Biden to step aside. I agree with bprofessor Alan Litctman that Democrats will make a huge mistake if they ask Biden to give up the race. If you saw morning Joe this morning Mika was talking to Richard hass and he said that Biden should step aside which Mika told him she highly disagree with him on that because she is not throwing in the towel on Biden. I agree with her.

It blows my mind that we have been waiting for years for trump to pay for his crimes and then the 'supreme Court goes and saves the crook again. It goes against the constitution that says "no man is above the law." I'm just sick about this. Is there any hope for this country?
