Yeah, i really hope so to.
His first jump today, under not the best wind conditions, was 240m, and with a true and delicate "Telemark" standig got 3* 19.5 for style. Looking forward for second round :)

Can someone please translate what the lady interviewer is saying to Evensens teammate? What incredible skill and courage demonstrated by Johan reman Evensen! Norway must be proud of their native son! What a remarkable record of superb Ski Flying!
look the landing, he could fly at least 5m more... this hill is awesome...

after i saw his jump over 240meter with telemark i think someone can stand 250 meter if he doesnt come too high. im sure it is possible. here at the WR he was too high and everybody could see that he didnt jump till the end, he had to interrupt

this makes me think that landing a wingsuit without parachute is possible [without using any landing aid's like Mark Sutton (r.i.p)].. I heard Jeb was working with NASA to design a "landing pad". Loic Jean-Albert was saying that all he needed was a mountain with the correct slope and lenth and I read the late great Dean potter mentioned somthing similar.
Who knows? maybe some military have already developed a technique for doing this?

I just hope he have some "powder" left for the competition later today.
In both training and qualification he has been awesome, but one doesn't win the Gold medal at those events.
