    I use to ride the bus with one of my students that was non verbal, no physical health issues. There were students on the bus with physical disabilities but those adults SAT next to their assigned student. When you ride the bus ALL children are your responsibility. Anything that can distract you from quick action is prohibited. No this side isn't solely responsible but what would have happened if she didn't have on ear buds? If she didn't have her head buried in her phone? Absolutely NO excuse

    People saying the aide did nothing wrong, would you be saying that if that was your child

      Not just that, but the aide was trusted and paid to watch the children on the bus. Yes, the little girl slipping in her harness was an accident, but it became neglect the moment the aide didn't perform her job as required. This tragic death was 100% preventable.

      She definitely did everything wrong and ten years is not enough for her failure to care for this little girl, it was her job and responsibility to lookout her her welfare and well-being. She for one did not have eyes on this child and her lack of awareness and responsibility led to this little girls demise. The judges and justice system system is a complete failure for innocent children. This needs to change.

    I don't understand how they're trying to blame the family for not buckling her in properly. Bus aides don't do much as is. After the family strapped her in, the aide should have checked to make sure that it was done correctly. And, she should not have been sitting in front of the child and she should have checked on her at some point throughout the ride.

    Sue these people, bus company 10 yrs. is not enough for this failure, her lack of responsibility, she was supposed to be close to this child And not doing all that she was doing instead of keeping an eye on the child. They are yet failing another child, it's disgusting how the justice system has lack of humanity for all these children that have lost their lives. Truly heartbreaking.

Smh you can tell she has a ritual ignore the kids and does whatever she wants just for a check she don’t care about the disabled kids smh RIP Princess

    I only use the phone when I go to places from google maps while one of my family members are driving with me. My family and I don't use the phone to just watch videos to get distracted at all just like this woman ended up doing that.

    • @AnaSky-d2r
      @AnaSky-d2r 10 дней назад +3

      It was her job to make sure the child was properly secured! It was her job to check on the child ! She did none of that yet you say she’s not to blame! Do I think she meant for this to happen? No. Yet the child died because the person responsible for her on that bus would rather text and look at phone than do what she’s been trained and paid for! She should never be allowed to work where someone depends on her because she clearly cares more about her phone than the child who was left in her care for just a damn moment seeing as all she had to do was watch the child until she was dropped off at school, that should not have been hard to do

    • @SarahCarrizales
      @SarahCarrizales 10 дней назад

      I don’t believe that story that she wasn’t strapped in correctly. That is a made up story so that the aide can escape responsibility.
