- This Grade II listed building was once a grand theatre, then casino and lastly a bingo hall, until it was abandoned in 2016. Since then the weather and mould has taken it's toll, this truly was a disgusting place to be.

I live in Las Vegas in the U.S. and if you ever get the chance ,take a visit . We have a few abandoned casinos that are absolutely massive. I can't guarantee what kind of characters live inside though.

It's the door pin switch to control the interior light, newer vehicles have them build into the door catch, or it's possibly been added on if you have an alarm., you know what AL should have had on the ratmobile....

If people are interested enough to research them for an explore they will find them easily enough but to mention the location in the comments might encourage people near to that location to visit and ruin it for everyone else.
The things with the red, yellow, blue and white numbers where the bonus numbers. Called out at the end of each bingo round. (They no longer use bonus numbers in bingo)
From 2007 until 2016 ( when it closed) it was the mint casino, Southport had quite a few casinos a few years ago
Jason Johnson yeah and the bingo section was closed off from the casino and the bingo was was closed for 18 years
This casino closed its doors on the 27th of March 2013. I was a member and frequent visitor, I can also add few bit of info: *#1* @ 7:06 before he mentions all the cobwebs you can see a door to the left... That was the main entrance to the casino for the public, thru those doors would lead downstairs to the main reception at the front of the building. The enterance the explorers came into the main floor of casino was thru a staff door. *#2* @ 7:22 that was the main gaming floor bar area, behind to the left was a more private section for food etc none gaming area not shown in this video.. *#3* @ 7:42 the safe was not large as this was a very low limits casino, and once I personally had to have a cheque payment as there was insufficient cash, ie the maximum bet on a single number was just £25/50 on weekend. - Note some of the older members of staff that used to work there even made comment about when the max bet used to be in the old fashion values (threepence etc etc). *#4* @8:07 those windows look down on Lord Street, there was no real reason to block the casino windows (typically casinos never have windows due to privacy) but due to being on the second floor there was no reasons to remove the glass windows. The main floor as seen from 7:06 onwards, was the main part of the casino floor, very small with 4 roulette tables and 2 BJ tables, and the rest of the area was for tables and chairs for infrequent poker games, and the rest (near the main casino door entrance) was the electronic machines fobt etc. - It was actually this location of genting casino that barred me from June/July 2012, luckily however I was only barred from genting casinos... But where as I was nationally barred from all UK casinos as of 4th March 2014 as can be seen in my hidden camera spy video on my channel. *_Paul, Liverpool UK_*
Also, you may notice where the roof tiles are missing, that was where the dome security cameras where, so they have took them away, I remember in late 2013 seeing the back of the casr park of the Grand casino (lord street) - at the back left in the car park they had pulled out all the old tables as they where left there in mass for some months. I will have a video of it somewhere. The only facts I have no idea about is the ground floor bingo hall, as it was not used in the years I was a member of the casino. I know that there is a mecca bingo on the other end of Lord Street however that is GALA/Rank, which is a Grosvenor chain. (the grand casino was a genting chain) *_Paul, Liverpool UK_*

The casino and bingo were always separate entities, there was no sealing off, you couldn’t access the casino from the bingo and vice versa
Thats true optik again another fact, it closed on 27th March 2013, and as for seprate entities... It was all within the GRAND premesis and was once called "stanley casino, mint casino, etc etc" all part of the genting chain of casinos, in fact you can see the 3 or 4 different age of old member cards on a pile on the floor, where as the seprate bingo hall was a gala casino, totally different company (like jaguar is to bmw) *_Paul, Liverpool UK_*
