I love how this song sounds so peaceful, but it slowly evolves over time. Before you know it, 1:14 sneaks up behind your back, and I love it. The song sounds like tragedy has struck, and it's amazing how it sticks to that idea by making that section more complex and carry out the rest of the song.
I was replaying Forgotten Land and found out, to my complete surprise, that I passed that requirement without even trying by skating on the water using Ice. I did not expect that to work, but it made the fight completely trivial
@@monkestan9433 Yeah that's fair, I just spammed the attack button a lot while skating to do that area-of-effect freeze and I somehow got it without trying -- I think I just got really really lucky
Enough with the songs that make me cry HAL please I'm begging... This melody feels so melancholic.... Yet it's still presented with so much grandeur! Love it so so much!!
My fav song in the game, it has such good vibes (and the level was really good too, the path at the end through the pipe with this music was one of my highlight of the game for sure)
Hydro-Energy Power Plant (plays during the stage of the same name, unique for it's use of fast flowing waterworks *pun intended*) - Waddle Dee of the Stars: Discovery
I was playing this level with a great friend of mine, and when 1:13 hit I screamed! Very few songs topped the "hold up" feeling this song hit me with, and for that, this sombre song is crowned my favourite in the franchise.
One of the best in the game, I like how it ramps up with largely the same melody and different/grander instrumentation each time. Running through the new world did it better, but this is amazing too.
This is so dramatic just for a level about water going fast
Sometimes, nothing is more dramatic than a rushing tide...
@@TiStardust Sometimes, nothing is more dramatic than that comment you just wrote ;D
@@Batterykitten8sometimes nothing is more blank than blank
Blame the Gordo Bars in the way of the flow
This song stood out to me because of how melancholy it is. It makes sense that its title is a double entendre for weeping.

STEEL BEAT, FAST FLOWING WATERWORKS AND MINING MELANCHOLY HAVE THIS KIND OF BEAT AND I LOVE IT BUT IDK WHAT INSTRUMENTS IT USES

That accordion. Just... wow.
"slowly evolves over time"
Bro it's barely even a minute before it gets dramatic
The buildup to it is way wayy too quick
this song is like the aquatic ambience or stickerbush symphony of this game, it’s very good
The base beat is a lot like the factory level in Kirby 64
Makes sense as it's a factory level, or I guess industrial?
@@pixeljacked8047 True, good point! ^^
This song hits really hard. Very fast but super soothing at the same time.
i had this song stuck in my head whenever i go to the bathroom or any water related place.
What about the pool rooms?
Honestly, this is probably one of the best songs in the game. It's at the very least my absolute favorite song!
same here, no other track stood out as much as this one, for me. Even the final boss theme
the most david wise style music i've ever seen in a kirby game, and I love it
Proof that water levels will literally always have banger music.
Reminds me a lot of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and I love that
1:29 that violin is so melancholy and beautiful , i love it
1:13 when the melancholy hits. I love it so much.
The beginning has some Strong DK Country vibes.
Me trying not to fall into the water for the 18th time in a row forgetting that Ranger exists (my waterworks are flowing fast)
I was replaying Forgotten Land and found out, to my complete surprise, that I passed that requirement without even trying by skating on the water using Ice. I did not expect that to work, but it made the fight completely trivial
@@swagathan5 i tried doing that but kept getting hit which is bad because getting hit once means you stop skating which means you fall into the water
@@monkestan9433 Yeah that's fair, I just spammed the attack button a lot while skating to do that area-of-effect freeze and I somehow got it without trying -- I think I just got really really lucky
Bomb also helps with this area, and it’s provided shortly before the fight
God I love the drums in this song so much.
I love those kind of melancholic/relaxing themes in underwater levels in videogames.
this one and metroid prime 1's water music 😫😫
This is my favourite song from the soundtrack. It's so soothing and yet dramatic at the same time lol
Man, this is a pretty great track. Not one of my absolute favorites in this soundtrack, but I still love this song!

so fucking good i love the accordion
I'm such a sucker for industrial setting video game music, and this one is quite, quite good.
Replaying this game again, I have no clue at all how this one slipped by me, it's sooo good

GIves me Mt. Pyre vibes, I love it.
This song reminds me of Bomberman 64's Blue Resort Theme. They're both somber themes for water levels.
This music was stuck in my head for a lot of time but I could not find it, recently replayed the level with this music
The atmosphere is like noneother
What I think about the first part about the song I think of it as like a ocean theme, even though it’s just a river level
This music reminds me of ‘Sky High and smitten’ from Kirby: Planet Robobot being in the same key while this track is relaxing
What a banger...
My favorite level in this world
1:24 is my favorite part
Simply fantastic
This reminds me of the Goldeneye pause music
reminds me of The Great Cave Escape from Rainbow Curse.
Sounds a lot like Rainbow Curse
And this is why drummers get all the girls.
XD
Best theme in the game
I hate the level this plays in a lot because I suffered trying to get that first tin of fish
This so accurate, it reminds me of:
Sonic Mania: Titanic Monarch Act 2 Past
The grand finale is close, yet the place seems unfinished

Tropical Coast Zone 4 (Underwater)
Found this after searching for “water kirby song” for my 3 year old 😵💫
it's donkey kong country 6
best
Maybe im drunk but i feel some similitude with a kuro no kiseki 2 track called Regain the Administration!, but a bit slower

This song carried the entire second world, besides this, the glider section, and the boss it was kinda boring.
