    4 Things To Do To Jump Higher:
    1. Absorbing forces
    What comes up must come down
    Recommended exercise: Depth jumps
    Start at an elevated platform and then jump from it, while landing go into a squatted position To absorb all the impact
    2. Increasing force production
    Newton's second law, the force on an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration
    More explosiveness = higher jump
    3. Getting explosive and fast
    Recommended training: squat jumps
    Best way to get more explosive is to jump more, the same goes for the rest, want to run faster do more running, more streght lift weights
    4. Jumping Technique
    Im stating the obvious here, if you don't do this correctly you'll get an injury
    there are 4 jump techniques but you'll see in the video ;)

    I can jump easily from left-right but it feels awkward to do it from right-left. Any tips on how I can balance both of them out and make both feel comfortable/natural?

    If i do pylometrics 2 times a week, how much do you think I can increase my vertical in a year? I got a 23 Inch vertical ATM. Btw thanks for these quality videos

      @picsmics3 Год назад

      if you have no previous training and your starting jump height is 23 inches, you can improve a lot, possibly +10 inches.

    Can u tell me if this is enough for a good workout 4 times per week?
    4x10 knee to jumping
    2x10 knee to jump on on side
    4x10 weighted squat jumps
    4x10 drop from box to jumps
    5x5 max jumps
    2x15 one legged side jumps(lateral)
    Minute rest between sets and sets in the 1st number
    Thanks if u do. Stole some from your videos.

    I think that is missing one thing : If you happen to have overweighted, it will be more difficult to jump higher. (:

    Hi , i have a quick question for you. For example i’m going on my basketball training but my legs sore a bit. Should i jump anyway or should i better wait till i will be completely rested? ( i’m not sore to much, only a little) Thank you in advance

    • @RiqB
      @RiqB  Год назад +1

      Only you know your body so do whatever feels necessary. Rest is always needed but if you feel you can put in full effort to have a jump session then go for it

      Maximize on your preference. If you're a 1 foot jumper I'd say to keep working on that
