- In this Israel-Gaza War Update we once again discuss the current ongoing Israeli ground offensive inwhich Israel not only continued its urban combat operations after it completed the siege of Gaza city but also expanded its operations to the south where it created new pockets inwhich its special forces, regular IDF soldiers and reservists now conduct daily raids after a week long ceasefire. We take a look at the Palestinian footage from a educational point of view again to explain what exactly happened in the videos we saw so far and why this was the case and will also whitness how the Israel portraits its ground operations shifted from footage recorded by combat camera men to helmet cam videos showing the current operations from the perspective of the average soldier and special forces.
This is a documentary of the events for educational and news reporting purposes containing a detailed analysis of video footage we have seen from the ground so far.

I think people seriously undermine the reality of suppressing fire. Not only does it force stress on combatants, but it also weakens cover & concealment viability, and also causes extensive spalling/fragmentation which can inflict serious and or fatal injury. This is especially present in massed rifle fire OR even more so, larger caliber machine gun coverage. The higher velocity and heavier ammo can really send metal and infrastructure bits at extremely high speeds and potentially outright kill people inside.

Door by door, hallway by hallway, street by street, and alleyway by alleyway. Looks like a soldier's freaking nightmare.
Also, the trust between these guys is palpable. You have guys checking areas with their guns or talking while others are suppressing windows and such right next to them. The amount of self-control, awareness, and trust you must have to not just focus in on where your bud is shooting is crazy. I guess its better to have eyes everywhere than on a single window in a place like that.
So interesting. Israeli special forces in a stack will tap the helmet several times of the guy infront of them to indicate they are throwing some sort of grenade . The little things you pick up I swear, goes to show how loud things are when first instinct is to communicate through touch like that
good catch. but its not instinct, its procedure. that's also why they keep at hand distance to each other (as opposed to combat in the field like in ukr.). you have to make physical contact both for noice and also in case the other guy is in shock of battle etc. they operate a bit like a Millipede that can split into smaller bits to outmanuver a threat

Its a mix of both. Hamas just lacks the numbers to put up proper defense. And since the cities are abandoned much guerilla fighting not possible. Its just a loose defensive strategy and a mix of defensive lines and hit and run

Its so weird to me that you get so much personal attacks in the comment section, as you mentioned multiple times in your video. I highly appreciate your work, if you align with my own personal views or not. Its about documenting and capturing historical footage to establish a basis for discussion and evalutation. The female soldiers are from the rescue brigade of the Homefront Command. It's a mixed gender unit who's primary role is rescuing both civilians (in case rocket attacks or natural disasters) and soldiers (during combat) from under rubble and collapsed buildings. When not dealing with rescue operations they mostly guard borders.
In general, mixed gender units in the IDF aren't a maneuvering force, so won't be the first to storm enemy strongholds. They do security for the most part and some other things, like combat rescue in this case.
I view them as I would my own children. They prove themselves each day to be worthy of our love and respect.

About the apparent lack of IEDs: what if Hamas simply had no time to set them up? When Israel invaded Gaza, Hamas couldn't possibly know which routes Israeli ground forces would take in Gaza's very urban landscape.
Gaza isn't Iraq, and HMS is not the Taliban or ISIS as western mainstream media and the Israeli propaganada would love people to think.
Hamas' actually was prepared for an invasion from east to west, but got caught by surprise.
Absolutely. Hamas expected the IDF to invade through Shejaiya neighborhood in the east of Gaza. They did not expect the IDF to go around the neighborhood and capture the coast which is why Israel has not seen big resistance in the initial weeks@@Danny-lr8qs
