For people who own this game digitally: On your home screen, scroll over the game, click start and choose "Game Version" at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Then choose the "PS4" version. I got digital edition Spider-Man and saved data on USB, I uploaded my usb data to cloud storage while on ps5, opened Spider-Man hit R1 and it work thanks and bunch 🙏🏾
btw if yall dont have your ps4 for some reason just go on the game click options a go on the ps4 version of the game in game versions (you will have to download if you have not already)
This was a help but you don’t have to switch to your physical PS4, you can just download the PS4 version on your PS5 and do everything from one console.
And if you have a physical ps4 version already downloaded into the ps5 you can go to that version to get the saved game you want then go to the ps5 version and transfer it there

Everytime I try to do it,it says a network error has occurred and it’s unable to download the save file,my internet and user is all the same on both. Edit: I got it to work you just have to reset the ps5 download it
I got my ps5 3 days ago downloaded all my saves to my ps5 from my ps4. This games' saved file also transfrerred but when I try to add my saved data for miles morales I get message saying i have to upload even it's in my ps5 storage and game save files. I also tried to overwrite the save game data for miles morales and the ps5 says it can't .
Follow the instructions in this video. Basically you have to go to the ps4 version and upload the save data. Then on the ps5 version you download the data

You can delete the ps4 version. Also the ps5 games are smaller in size than ps4 games
