I traded in my PS4 copy thinking I could just upload the data to the cloud and it would work NOPE can’t do it now. Sony needs to get on Xbox’s level when it comes to cloud gaming/storage.
You can now access the ps4 version on plus extra / premium and transfer it from there as well. I’m glad it’s available finally, as before it was not so i didn’t buy the remaster just miles. It would be nice to be able to earn the trophies again though versus just settling for what i have left, ultimate diff and new game plus. I honestly didn’t want to lose all the other progress my son loves messing around with the suits etc. Get ready for a savage time if you go for the trophies on the expansions, some of those are f##king brutal. Sony will never get on Xboxs level on that stuff.

Ok I know I’m a bit late on the video but if you have the ps4 version on your ps5 or the disc ps4 version on your ps5 you just load up the ps4 version then do the file you want then go back to ps5 version then upload it 😊 welcome so you don’t need to plug your ps4 back in ps5 manually 😊

@@ourxbox1 yes I figured it out all you have to do is copy the game data from the PS4 to flash drive and upload them to the PS5 and open the game you will see all your progress in there. Try that and if you face any problem I'm here you can ask me.

Spiderman (2018) is a different game than miles morales. The save file does not carry over. But the ps4 would detect if you finished the original Spiderman game and give you a trophy I believe
I realize this was forever ago, and you may already know now, but yes, you can transfer the PS4 version of Miles Morales, to the PS5 version of Miles Morales. You do it the same exact way as you do Spiderman PS4 to Spiderman remastered PS5.

If I continue the game on the remastered version and earn more trophies, will the PS4 copy also reflect the trophies e earned?
Likely. If you put your PS4 file to the PS5 version you also instantly get all the same trophies meaning if you have 100% on PS4 You get it again for PS5. It also counts both as different games meaning if you transfer you can get another Platinum for pretty much no work other than transfering the save. This is likely the same case with Remastered meaning Another free platinum.
Please tell me after years theres another way to just transfer the ps4 data without the ps4 version game? PlayStation is literally nothing with these exclusive games. This is embarrassing

Go do the GameStop rental program. Basically buy it used and transfer your saves then return the game

spiderman remastered is digital only so you dont need your ps4 game to be able to play it

that usually means that you dont have the latest update for either the game or console

You need to use the ps4 version to be able to transfer. You can install the ps4 version on your ps5 and transfer it that way
