@Tristan George its ways easier to install it now, just type in stalker anomaly and go to the mod webpage, make sure to download a file extractor, i use 7 zip. Watch a tutorial on RUclips. The actual download might take a few hours. I just did it yesterday, it just takes some time.

Well, you were moderately lucky on your way trough radar!!! I got two emissions, I had one black sausage of doom with me only (while being pinned down by two monolith and trying to heal myself), I got two space lasers on my head (one killed me instantly the other just grazed me for 3/4 of my health) and so on, playing on "easy" and carrying two companions which were pretty useful at attracting monolith fire and pushing me out of cover with their awkward pathing, etc. Easy anomaly mode my ass.
My first playthrough I had increased rewards to get money easier, had my companions as pack mules to carry insane amounts of artifacts to Yantar, made mad cash and bought a skat-9, went to radar with an SVU and an AKMS with an ugl, got to radar and instantly got a blowout. Then got fucked by a giant chimera, got absolutely shredded by two gauss assholes on the first checkpoint, plus the chimera which didn't attack me after the last reload came after me mid fight while I was being surrounded by 500 monolith brainlets, pretty much just turned around and grinded money till I got a nosrog and cleared that place ez, no chimera, no gauss guns, the rng in anomaly is a bitch.
Holy shit it's so nice to load up this mod and have it work first time... I'm not much of a PC gamer and my PC is pretty shit, so I can't play modern games. Great then that the best PC games are older titles like this which run fine. I went for random spawns and ended up where you start in SoC so it's going to be fun only having shitty weapons around. Time to make some money and definitely never die in the process.
Imagine if you got a deliver package mission from duty or freedom to the other sides base but its just C4 or something and you deliver it to a agent inside the base without knowing then later on a random explosion happens inside the base.. that would be.. scary... knowing that you assisted a attack on a enemy base by giving someone a bomb that you didnt know that was in there
Just for the record, if you look at the chimera config it has 1000 health, a pseudogiant as far as I remember has bit over 700, and they are slow as fuck, you can bop them with a few grenades, a chimera is something you can't hit with grenades, if you run into one, your best bet is to just let it kill you, reload, get the fuck out if your last save is anywhere near the place it showed up in, take not of the area you saw the chimera in and never, ever go there again.
my only encounter with it was at a monolith checkpoint on the road from limansk to red forest, I waited for the guys to kill it or damage it for me, then it killed all the guys in there and i came back the way I went there
The basic tool spawn is still broken AF in 1.5. I was playing it several days before I managed to actually stack up all 7 of them. They are incredibly hard to find.

Tbh i'd love to play Call of Pripyat but the steam version literally will not launch, it gets into a loop of asking for administrator perms. Mods apparently fix this but my download speed is so slow it times out
Taking a phat chance and going to ask if anyone knows which color/lighting and shader settings Tomato uses / has set to get his game looking so much better than mine? Tried so many guides and settings, it's basically pitch black in shade/indoors, and brighter than the sun outside. Even tried the sky bloom fix mod/addon.
With my experience now, and from what I can tell, Tomato is playing vanilla Anomaly. Back then I eventually did a complete reinstall to fix my visual issue, and still using the P.R.O.S.P.E.R.I.T.Y. Reincarnation Shader today. Not sure if it's the same shader, but personally I like it a lot.

Like to push to engine to it's limits of sorts. Or is it just like a feature that we can't get rid of, the pixelated bushes from a far for example.
AP is not effective against soft targets, doesn't transfer energy. If this game is done right it's worse to shoot a controller with AP than regular FMJ.
You've made me install Anomaly, but the thing is i keep getting a shit ton of crashes i can't find anything about on the internet. How do you manage to get no crashes at all during your streams? Good videos by the way, you're very entertaining to watch.
Make sure you copied all the unzipped folders into the main Stalker anomaly directory. The first time I didn't copy everything. Also in the main options you can make the game use more RAM
@@Unreelme Yup, i double-checked and the files were properly extracted from zip. I could probably try and get more than 8 Gb of RAM but i don't know if it will help. I currently have the update 1 with hotfix 3 installed as it apparently fixed the type of crash i have but actually it doesn't. I keep getting the TextureFromMemory() error which as the devs said is due to AMD GPUs having some known issues, so i guess i might be out of luck(also switching to dx9, dx8 or dx10 doesn't help, the crash just occurs with different symptoms).
@@MrLittlePredator the game probably requires more than 8gb of ram, especially on dx11, idk though. Dx9 might work fine I think that was the original one they coded for so maybe more stable, with view distance, texture, and grass down. I play on amd but dont get many crashes except when I read a specific crafting recipe note.
I would try a clean install, copy and paste all the unzipped texture files and whatever from the update into the core directory, in its corresponding place

I desperately needed it because I'm at the hobo stage and can't spawn elsewhere yet since I've just started(yeah I know I can cheat or mod that) It's so fucking handy. I decided to spawn in the three sets of tools, fuck it, I deserve it because I was right at the end of my first playthrough of CoP and then my harddrive died.
@@ayyyjono Heyo, thanks for the reply, i've since played Anomaly also and as far as i can tell the only mods he has ontop of Anomaly is the Prosperity Reshade, Particles Remade and a sound overhaul for the guns, because his TOZ sounds far different to mine. That's all i could find so far :)
The current Anomaly Patch is better BTW, no people yelling at you for having guns out, much better Mods, like Psy overhaul (mainly a Controller fix, they were ignoring Psy Armor) Mutant Bleeding, Artifact and Attachment Overhaul (without this basically all attachments besides carry weight are useless) and fixes for building up your rank and ranked NPC loadouts (NPCs high on the rank list have better grade weapons and normally have very good armor) i think i'm going to get myself a merge tool and will build a mod prefab since i am so amazed by anomaly

Just so you're aware, that's not what one would call a "sniper" rifle. It's a DMR (Designated Marksman's Rifle) at best. Nothing that shoots 5.56 comes close to a sniper rifle. The typical cartridge for DMRs is .308, and the typical cartridge for sniper work is .338 Lapua or larger. Also, not to be nit-picky, but the rifle you're using was based off a rifle that was never chambered in 5.56, at least not on the military side of things. IRL, that's a .308 rifle.

A Designated Marksman is nothing more than a Rifleman who happens to excel at his job, and they operate from within the confines of an Infantry squad. Snipers are a different beast altogether. They may work with Infantry at times (usually over-watch and observation), but they are not Infantry.
