There is a spool kit for the diffs was thinking about trying that out in the front diff if the thicker grease doesn’t work trying to achieve power and grip coming out of the turns
its very easy and ive showed this in a few videos. just remove the 4 small bolts for the bumper under the car and the 2 bolts that go straight down from the top. pull off the bumper and then remove the diff cover by removing its 4 bolts. use the LOSI exploded parts view manual on their website for reference.
@ these tips and bearings should get you close. Don’t tell anyone but id hide some lead tape to the underside of the battery :) I see rule benders doing that. I wouldn’t do such a thing but?? :)
Too thick for the first race. I really think need to give this the tt02 treatment. Rear dffis down. 2000grit paper inbetweeen the metal teeth. 5000 on the plastic sun teeth. Some light oil and run it free. Many will say there is more to gain by running a stiffer front end but we found the fastest tt02 stock class is just a good polish and free as can be drive train. I’ll swap that out for next week. Gotta get my truck ready tomorrow night :)

well i guess they are starting to tech that the front diff is not locked now :)
Are you able to make a video showing us how to get to the diff please? I have no idea what I’m doing.
Thank you

Do you take the seals off of all of the bearings? Wheel bearings and driveshaft bearings?

How did you like the 5000 grease in both front and rear @dorkyand40? Trying to set mine up for carpet oval

You should make a video of this thanks for the quick reply
@ def can. I’d have to cut it up a lot. Takes a long time lol.
Racing tip i used . I found out mostly all the racers took two gears out the diffs . Muuuuuuch better turn in
Hmm yeah. We do it on our buggy’s. Good call mate
Both my cars diffs were slathered full of thick, sulphur based grease. It looks like yours were pretty dry.
That one was not touched but could have been driven. So it either had little or nothing for sure.
