Inb4 people ask what blow off valve it has, it doesn't have one, that is why it flutters.

@@charliegrace7459 10+ years of doing it and never had an issue, if it does any damage it's so minimal you can't tell.

​@@charliegrace7459can ≠ will. The chance of a turbo failing from surge is basically 0. Off throttle, there's less positive pressure on the turbine than when the turbo's operating under normal conditions. Sending waste air back to the turbo, in the vast majority of cases, won't do anything.
Is it added stress? Yes. Is is more stress than what the turbo's designed to handle? Absolutely not.
