👉Album Playlist: • Shub-Niggurath
A 2 hour dark soundscape album recorded by 20 ambient artists to pay tribute to H.P. Lovecraft.
Dark sounds from dreamy dimensions to never ending cursed forests. Join us in the ritual of lust for the Black Goat of the Woods.
Shub-Niggurath is an Outer God (or Outer Goddess) in the pantheon. She is a perverse fertility deity.
An enormous mass which extrudes black tentacles, slime-dripping mouths, and short, writhing goat legs. Small creatures are continually spat forth by the monstrosity, which are either consumed into the miasmatic form or escape to some monstrous life elsewhere.
Of all the mythos deities, Shub-Niggurath is probably the most extensively worshipped. Her worshippers include the Hyperboreans, the Muvians, T'yog of K'naa, and the people of Sarnath, as well as any number of druidic and barbaric cults. She is also worshipped by the non-human species of the mythos, such as the "Fungi from Yuggoth" (the Mi-Go) and the Nug-Soth of Yaddith. With the proper occult paraphernalia, Shub-Niggurath can be summoned to any woodlands at the time of the new moon.
So is this a compilation?
No, this is a collaboration and huge undertaking. 20 artists linked studios and sound for over a year so that they could work with each other. This led to a deep exploration of the Mythos and Shub-Niggurath
2 CD album comes in a Deluxe 16 page Hard cover DigiBook. Artwork is served on Matte Laminated pages that makes the artwork stand out. A journal with entries by the seeker of the Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young, as interpreted by writers Donald Persson & Alistair Rennie

Me: Pass the aux cord
My bros: Are you going to play that necrophiliac music?
Me:
am i the only one who uses cryochamber videos as the soundtrack for certain moments in their d&d campaign?
No :)
haha me too. Then I tend to turn the adventure into some fever dream eldritch hallucination
Not yet! But I'm about to plan a campaign and this (and other tracks) will be perfect!
I plan to put this tomorrow!
I used the other great old one mixes for my Cthulhu p&p
This is the perfect music for when I sit down to study mathematics.
We shall see what influence the Black Goat of the Woods with A Thousand Young has over my term paper...
Same. Hopefully it's a good one. Not a corrupting, mind-shredding one because my paper's already doing that.
I feel that mood for sure...
I wonder what effect it may have on my microeconomics paper :D
Congrats. Your paper is pregnant.
Pussieeeees haha if you afraid I will devour your asses into worship
40:00-43:00 is the most thought-provoking/mystical piece I’ve heard from this channel. A true masterpiece
Makes me wan't to sit up on a hill and just watch time go by
Thanks cryo, your my best peaceful nightmare!
Every time one of these albums comes out, I buy it without even bothering to listen first. Why? Because FLAC beats RUclips, and why waste time testing the waters when I KNOW the tentacles are there, waiting to grab me?
Also, all this Lovecraftian goodness makes me wonder what kind of ambient we could get out of collabs inspired by Bloodborne. Eldritch horror with a sprinkling of beasts, blood, and a Japanese twist? "Orphan of Kos Ambient"? Alas, one can dream.
The Circle is now complete 🌜🌝🌛
Now Cryo Chamber is the master.
Well, this will be my theme for tonight's study
Definitely sets the mood.
Gratitude to all the creators of this lovely darkness........
/By the way, how do you like it , the sound will completely absorb you ruclips.net/video/CvgHzNHSROo/видео.html
Wondrous work as always. Bought both of these through Bandcamp a few days ago. Helps me sleep like a baby. I eagerly await any future collaborations and pray that the King in Yellow graces your works with divine inspiration.
Well, look at who's been blessed by the Outer Gods themselves!
Seriously I have listened to this tape a hundred times and the atmospheres and sound choices are so f*cking om point and on my level its still giving me goosebumps. 10/10 Your sickest collab guys really appreciate the effort and dedication.
Another one great love it great work, hastur next please
When I finished the first video, I got up and was all like *No! It can't end like this!*
Then I chilled out where this one came out.
I love crafting stories
hehe
/By the way, how do you like it , music of meditative trance ruclips.net/video/CvgHzNHSROo/видео.html
I’m somewhat ashamed that it took me several minutes to notice what you did there- I was actually reading another comment further along and then it hit me. Oh well- it’s 4 in the morning, what do you want? 😉
@@tunguskalumberjack9987 lmao I must have commented that at 4 in the morning too
Wow, work of genius.
Sit back and relax while our Shub-Niggurath plays you her jazz...
Stunning, chilling.
I don’t know what I would be without Cryo Chamber. Another flawless mix.
The sounds that start about 7:55 is the fetid slime that oozes forth from the Dark Young. Also, the chittering sounds are pure 'The Lurking Fear'.
The House of Cthulhu being read over this sonic landscape. The darkest treat. Thank you, Cryo Chamber.
You guys have done such great jobs on these Lovecraft collabs, Cthulhu is in my top 5 ambient albums right up there with Lustmord's "Where the Black Stars Hang", but it's left me wondering what could follow. Other than a Carcosa/King in Yellow collab, I think it might be best to turn attention elsewhere rather than exhaust the cosmic-horror mainstays.
this is an excelent ambient for curses.
This channel is inner dimension :)
Listening to this as I write a dark future world-building project
All your uploads are gold! This is some finely crafted dark ambient.
/you will definitely like it , ambient electronic immersion style ruclips.net/video/CvgHzNHSROo/видео.html
Awesome music for my occult practices
Excellence as usual. Perhaps the next theme can be the Elder Things!
good idea!
Just what i need relaxing
I'm sure you get loads of these comments, but anyway: I used three pieces of music that you made in my D&D (well actually Pathfinder, but whatever) session on Sunday, and my players thought they were incredible. I've been looking for music/ambience that really suits my DM-ing for a while, and I'm really glad I found your channel. So, just wanted to let you know that.
Lovecraft, baby, Lovecraft!
Thanks lads!
Excellent! Love it!
Now is complete 😁 thank you
Personally, I think a collab oriented towards odd literary stuff not traditionally associated with cosmic horror would be executed very well by you guys, I'm thinking House of Leaves/Borges-esque stuff.
Or sci-fi classics like Dune, or a Japanese cosmic horror themed collab, I love the Gothic European and Middle-Eastern sound scapes, but some more Asiatic vibes would be a nice change and Lovecrafts influence is felt in quite a bit of Japanese literature, games, manga and anime.
Amazing as always! been waiting for this for a long time, have you guys planning to do some music about warhammer and the dark gods?
Perfection.
Using this in a western steampunk inspired campaign where in unwittingly a VHS is cursed when rewound to open up a rift to the Eldrich gods. And a goat glitching monster will tell them it is only a matter of time that we recorded and also in a Eldirch language played backwards and forwards as he's shifting in and out of phase in theme with the idea of rewinding. Shir'grath marngoth un'tio teluk.
In my childhood i used to listen to the Music but it is over these days....now you call it music
Time to whip out the thunderbolt
This is the best one of the Cthullu series, so far. Are we getting a new one this year as well?
Yes!
So glad I subscribed to you guys. Great to relax to :)
So cool
Awesome!
perfect for stuyding!
hey this is the South park boss i beat today
¡Iä! ¡Iä!
Chiyo Nee-chan!
That seal makes me think "Google Books". It's got a g and a book.
I know that having some sort of tracklist for these compilations is pointless (maybe even impossible), because everything is mixed up not as separate tracks, but at least some kind of hints about which parts are made by what contributor, that would be of great help. I like this piece of work as it is, but some parts I like a lot more (like those melodies and atmospeheres at 29:30-32:00 or 57:10-59:30). Knowing what artists made some certain parts would help anyone find 'their cup of tea' style and lead them to discovery of those producers, which would possibly fit their musical taste with higher chance. Nonetheless, great work again, thumbs up!
It's not a compilation, it's a collaboration using a lego-esque approach to production where each of us artists create sounds that other artists then work on back and forth. At any point in time on these albums there will be the fingerprints of at least a handful of artists as each of their layers and sounds play at the same time.

the music is amazing, someone knows the origin of those symbols?
39:00 tho hhhhhhhhh
Sub Niggurath the goat with a thousand young.
You've done Dagon, right? How about Tsathoggua?
Who here from the exploring series? Cause I am
I'm here from Yog an Cthulhu
Ummm... am I late?
I couldn't help but think about the monster from The Fractured But Whole game when I saw the title for this, I'm so sorry 😂
N
I like the (music) very much, but not so impressed with the Vap blowing across my screen.
