I really think that people with life sentences should have their own prisons separate from people who have a limited sentence where they have an exit date.
They wont do that. Prison isnt for rehabilitation, Prison is for profit. If you put short termers in with lifers then it increases the chances the short termer will become a lifer. Its repeat business ensuring tactics, plain and simple. The people behind these organizations are tyrannical and malevolent to the core, and they justify it and view their malevolence as a virtue because to them, were all just criminal scum. Theres no humanity within us in their eyes. So, to them, what theyre doing is good and they are serving the public. People are delusional beyond reproach. Listen to a psychological breakdown of the camp guards at Auschwitz if you want to understand the core of every persons capacity for tyranny. Its within all of us. Most just arent in a position in which it can manifest without consequence, like the nazis and like many Correctional officers and administrative staff members pulling the strings within correctional facilities. Make no mistake about it, from the perspective of a clinical psychologist, Those admin staff and CO's, many are identical to the Nazi guards, they just havent been doing it long enough in order to be granted the appropriate opportunity to inflict malevolence equal to the camp guards.
Larry, I’m 16 years old and my dad just got sentenced to prison. I’d just like to ask if there’s anything the family can do to support someone in prison. Thanks
I'm not Larry, but sending books and letters is always good. Send as many pictures as you can. Food usually sucks and theres not much of it so if you can afford to send any money I'm sure that will be appreciated. Also money for soap/shampoo and deodorant.
I recommend doing research on the phone system of the penitentiary your dad is in. What I mean by this is if you can get a cell phone with a localized number to that prison it might help reduce cost of calls. It can go from a 1.25 a min to .30 cents a minute for a call. This can help your dad with being able to sell phone time to make some money via call forwarding. This is a hit and miss situation. Money for commissary is crucial. Food can be scarce at mealtime and a hot pot and noodles can save a stomach from grumbling late at night. Books. Like lee said Letters and books. These items break up the monotony of time being served. You can usually order books from online and have them mailed in. Magazine subscriptions. Your dad can sell mags and they give decent things to look at. One other thing. Length of sentence and the prison the time is being served in matter. If it is a minimum-security facility, hell that's easy time. (Some will say no time is easy time. That shit is a lie.) Time in a maximum-security facility is far different than medium or low. The reason I mention these factors is how the time is served. How it will fuck with your dads psyche. Wish ya luck and your father a swift bid

Larry Lawton - good dude. My life has not been nearly as wild as yours but I for sure have some demons I am currently fighting off. Your story gives me hope for my own redemption and my words will never be able to convey how much that means to me.
First thing I learned in jail before I did 5 years in federal prison was to look at the shoes on everyone. Always were boots after that regardless. Woke up at 5am or earlier. First 3 years was at a low and last two at a camp. Over 30 county jails too. Diesel therapy. Seen as horrible fight with chairs and locks in a sock. I almost had to use hot oil in the kitchen when a situation got out of control. Had some other inmates step in. Almost did it to on the street when dude said he wasnt going back to prison after slapping one of my friends. Got a few stories on my channel. Be cool if you checked it out. Was interesting to watch. Great video

Hey Larry my brother has just started his career in law enforcement by starting a job at a county jail. He is very young and I can't help but to worry about him. Do you have any advice for him I could extend to him?
Was it common to use anything else in the sock for weight? Maybe something that wouldn’t set off metal detectors? I’ve heard of people using pool balls on the outside to get past security.

I learn so much from your show Larry. Thank you for fighting the system!!! If I was a man put in prison, my greatest fear would be getting beaten and/or murdered. Would it be possible to do more videos on the women’s prison?
Wow first time looking at the new studio! Did you learn about these weapons just from experimenting or did other inmates teach you how to make them, like the fence wire poker?
I love listening to the podcast I might watch it from time to time but enjoy listening. I call you uncle Larry cause you drop knowledge and wisdom like a good one plus being 32 you're exactly the age of my uncle's lol

I studied jiu jitsu for several years from childhood to my teenager years. Some of the best things I learned is exactly what you opened with. Get hit, get used to getting hit. I take that a bit further by saying get thrown around, get choked, get pinned down, get kicked, etc. When the real deal ever happens, the training comes back automatically and definitely makes a person a lot more capable of defense, fighting back, and not panicking.
Hey Larry my brother has just started his career in law enforcement by starting a job at a county jail. He is very young and I can't help but to worry about him. Do you have any advice for him I could extend to him?
literally show him Larry's channel, seeing the mind if an inmate could be insightful for him
Great video boss!
Awesome video larry,i love the videos and i never ever wanna go to prison
As a mma, boxing fanatic and practioner this is video is right up my alley 👊
100% agree with you, and its the truth
Love love love your content!
Was it common to use anything else in the sock for weight? Maybe something that wouldn’t set off metal detectors? I’ve heard of people using pool balls on the outside to get past security.
The whole boiling, sticky, oil thing is quite creative.
The lock in a sock is genious. never would've thought about something like that
Did you ever meet Nicky Scarfo in Atlanta? Great video as always.
Some foam sound pads will help with the room reverb.
still finishing up. We are almost done, just waiting on the vinyl design first
Great video you cheer up my day, I've made some great bits and pieces, coming from a engineering background and 23 hrs a day you get creative, seen some crazy shit as well big thanks from the UK keep UK the good work,
Hey Larry thanks so much for the amazing content it's so great hearing your perspective on things and learning how it really is in prison with no BS. I'd love to see you do a video on Ali Siddiqs video about a guard named Mitchell and even chat with Ali that'd be very cool. Again big fan of everything you do and thanks again for the amazing content.
I was in jail for 47 days i made a butter knife plastic shank it was slightly sharper than a regular plastic butterknife
I learn so much from your show Larry. Thank you for fighting the system!!! If I was a man put in prison, my greatest fear would be getting beaten and/or murdered. Would it be possible to do more videos on the women’s prison?
I loved NY in the 70s too. So gritty and low life but so wonderfully real.
Loving the content
Definitely enjoy these videos.
Great video Larry. This was definitely interesting. There are some documentaries on the Indiana state prison that may interest you
Love the videos Larry, I’m having a beer for you right now.
Great video, Mr. White!
Let’s Goooo. Larry 💯
Hey Larry if you see this,
Do you think you could interview the latino guy who makes prison food on RUclips and tiktok
Wow first time looking at the new studio! Did you learn about these weapons just from experimenting or did other inmates teach you how to make them, like the fence wire poker?
there are some "passed down" recipes, but most are just innovative learning along the way
I love listening to the podcast I might watch it from time to time but enjoy listening. I call you uncle Larry cause you drop knowledge and wisdom like a good one plus being 32 you're exactly the age of my uncle's lol
Your mind is number 1 weapon. Know how to fight but know how to avoid the fight too. If everyone has their boots laced up, do you really need to go to the phones? You bump into someone, say excuse me. Know how to act and you can avoid dangerous situations.
Best video by far…. Very funny & educational 😎
