Damn I feel your pain. I had a celly who was 6'6" and he was up top too...he was always dangling off the sides or curled up like a potato chip. That struggle is real.
New subscriber here. I appreciate your channel. I definitely understand how important sleep is. I was crippled by a drunk driver 3 years ago. I've gone from one of the most active and productive people you would ever meet, to what I've become now which is just doubled over in pain all the time and half the person i used to be. Living a life in constant debilitating pain is a prison all in itself. Im a prisoner in my own body. Sleeping, to me, is a release to freedom. I have my mobility and I'm never hurting in my dreams. We've lived vastly different lives, but i really can relate to alot of what you talk about. Thank you for what you do. 👊

Remember that night when the guy called, all terrified, saying they were coming for him because of some secret and the satellite got knocked out during the call? That shit tripped us out.
Screw that!! I hated being locked down. I really dig the open door thing because I was fearless. Plus it's fun to hangout and party in other people's rooms.
@@flightofthebumblebee9529 yeah I think I tried to fight everyone in the open door I didn't give a fuck back then Usually if I got locked up I'd be so pissed off I wanted to fight
Larry I don’t think you will ever know how wonderfully you help people . You are not just teaching you’re enlightening, and helping perfect strangers get through the day-- thank you so much!
When I was in jail for about 2.5 weeks, I slept 6 total hours even though I had my own cell. The place is loud, the guards are assholes always shining lights in the cell to see if you are up, missing or dead. The guards "rocked the doors" at least 3 times from 10PM until 5AM. Rocking the doors for those reading this that don't know what that is, the guards would open the doors to the cells slightly and quickly slam them shut several times in a row. And as Larry said, the snorers are terrible and there is no way to get rid of the noise. Or you have someone who is freaking out because they are upset about something and would scream all night and the guards would let them until the guards got annoyed by it and then the guards in riot gear would come in to make the person stop. Don't go to jail people if you like to sleep. You won't get any.
Lol idk man when I was in the military sometimes sleep was was easy to get if your missions get canceled or something, but most of the time I suffered from a real lack of sleep. Not to mention like 0430 formations at my unit or whatever. I don't miss being up well before the sun comes up or an hour before formation to get my uniform put together correctly, and hopefully all my gear was out together and packed the night before.
I did 24 and change in prison in Texas and got out in 2004. I was on Eastham Unit which was a maximum security "farm" unit. The doors stayed closed and locked all the time. Breakfast was between 3:30 and 4:30 with first work turnout at 5 a.m. They were opened then closed for meals, work, showers, and in the afternoon after supper for some dayroom, the doors were still closed while you were in the dayroom. The front of the cells were open bars, not solid. The bunks were within 3 or 4 inches of the bars, so everyone slept with their feet toward the bars. Almost all of us were light sleepers and if someone was asleep you had better have a good reason to wake them up. You had to have respect for your celly. If he was asleep, you kept the noise down, radio down or off, and not yell down the run. Loud radios at night were hated. If someone asked you to turn it down and you didn't then you would come back from chow, from work, or from showers and find your radio smashed, or someone would talk with an inmate maintenance man, and he would go into the pipe chase and disconnect your antenna. If you used a mechanical alarm clock and didn't quickly turn it off, someone would turn it off for you by smashing it on the floor or against the wall. For years after I got out, I would wake at 3 or 4 and not be able to go back to sleep. I still have trouble staying asleep for a whole night.
@@conandoyle1740 I have an I.Q around 145. I learned to type in high school and spent most of my time working as a "clerk" in three different departments. My last 6 or 7 years I was the head "clerk" in the recreation department and more or less ran it, doing all our quarterly reports and our budget and capital expenditure requests at the end of the year. I at least skimmed 4 newspapers every day, including the NY Times and the Wall Street Journal, and read countless books and magazines. I have a skill trade, I can weld just about any type of metal. I had a job within 2 days of getting out and was the night shift supervisor within 6 months. Had I applied myself, I would have gone to college, become an engineer and never gone to prison. @@conandoyle1740 I'm 70 and my health is bad. Cognition and memory decline as we age, so most important discoveries usually occur at a relatively young age. Hey Larry, it would be cool if you did a video on what it’s like being sick/ill in prison and also inmate remedies to help make being sick/ill in prison easier. Thanks for another great video! P.S I commented this on your last video and it was the most liked comment with almost 600 likes but you never saw it, hopefully you see this one! :)
Love your videos Larry. So informative, unbiased, and honest. Keep it up. It’s hard to tell how many people you have helped over the years. You’re truly an inspiration. I’ve never been to jail or prison and don’t ever plan to, but your videos are immersive, realistic, and straight up. I’ve learned a lot from your videos and just want to say thank you.
I was admitted to a mental hospital in 2016 and stayed for a year and I still have dreams where I'm there and they won't let me out. The subconscious is strong.
@@v4v819 You have to get use of the lack of privacy, like having a camera in your room. However I was so drugged up from my medications that I could sleep through a hurricane.
It's strange but what you said about "missing out" is exactly how I've always felt about sleep. I always push it later and later and at times have ended up with some really stupid sleep patterns of going to bed at 7am and waking up at 3pm... While I don't go to those extremes these days, I still tend to be awake until about 3am, sometimes later. I think I'm just kind of a night owl by nature, and given the choice just generally prefer to be awake through the night rather than during the day.
I was the same way for most of my life. I only recently started sleeping somewhat normally, and the only way I was able to do it was by getting a 9-5 job. Now I _have_ to sleep earlier or I'll be a zombie at work. And I'm a programmer so I have to be able to think clearly and focus. Sucks getting up early but it beats going to bed while the sun's rising and waking up when it's almost ready to set.
During the summer months especially (Not to mention this big heatwave recently in the UK) I would always sleep through the really hot afternoons, and prefer being awake in the cooler nights
Larry, thanks for the inside stuff and stories of your life…it really does put life into perspective, thanks brother. Keep being good influence and a role model for us brother.
Always excited to see one of your videos pop up Larry! Hands down this is my favorite channel. Crazy to think about trying to sleep in such a vulnerable position. Wouldn’t want to look away much less close my eyes.
Look man, I just started watching your videos and I have to say they are addicting. I am also from New York so maybe it's kind of like, "That's my guy" mentality but I can tell by the way you speak, your mannerisms and body language that you are a wealth of information on both sides of the jail cell so to speak. What I mean is, you made a mistake, you did your time, you don't make excuses and you are trying to educate people. Dude, you seem like a stand up guy and I am glad your life is where it is now. I would love to grab a couple of slices and beers with ya! Subscribed!
Hey Larry, sorry I am late to this video but I watch your current videos and I’m trying to catch up on all the past ones that I missed. I’m loving it. Keep them coming, brother.
It's crazy how they expect anyone to go into this horrible environment and come out the same, never mind rehabilitated. I can't imagine having to listen to all these negative sounds at night like crying and screaming and being forced into cramped quarters with some stranger, and this is only the night time stuff. The rest of your videos are very eye opening as well. For such an advanced country it's insane that we still treat human beings like this, no matter what they've done.
Jail isn’t for rehabilitation. It’s to lock away dangerous people. Sure people make mistakes, but do you actually think criminal minds give a flying fuck about rehabilitation?
@@davidcardinal3654 The people that can't be rehabilitated get life sentences. Everyone else WILL be getting out and returning to society, and they should be preparing them for that so they don't end up doing the exact same shit again. And if that doesn't convince you, I would like to point out that they are called "correctional facilities".
@@xemnas1997 they are grown. They can open up a book and figure it out for themselves. Criminals get off easy nowadays so don’t give me that crap about life sentences. I know someone who got murdered from a stab wound in the head because the worthless criminal wanted beer. Busted into his home for no reason other than that. He got 2 years. So get the hell outta here. Worthless criminals deserve to be locked up forever for as long as they are deemed a danger.
@@davidcardinal3654 2 years isn't a fitting sentence even if he didn't mean to kill anyone (manslaughter). There had to have been more evidence or details that you aren't aware of for a judge to make that call. Either way, I'm sorry about your friend, and as much as you'll hate to hear it I feel sorry for the guy who killed him. People make mistakes, especially when dealing with addictions (such as to alcohol), and things can spiral out of control. Should the killer (not murder if it wasn't intentional) pay with his own life for a mistake? It won't bring the victim back. It won't stop other people from doing stupid shit to fulfill their addictions. All it would do is cause more pain. Clearly the judge thinks there's hope for that man, and so all we can do it hope that he learns from his time in prison how to be a better person because otherwise it's back to robbing houses for beer money once he gets out assuming he's not already out.
Larry, thank you for explaining your experiences during the time you had. My fiance doesn't explain much sometimes, I know thats partly for my benefit. Sleep has been a ongoing issue over the years. Hes been in the SHU for 3 years and the volume levels are crazy. Thanks again for all you share.
I love that you're always very honest and open with us. I'm sad that you were treated unfairly in prison but at the same time, I'm happy that you've overcome your past and are using your platform to educate the public as well as save lives; there's plenty of youngsters on this platform (myself included) who learn a lot from your videos. Every day, you inspire lots of people to make better decisions and to stay OUT of prison which is admirable. Much respect man!
I used to have horrendous insomnia from early 20s to maybe early 30s. Getting married for a bit actually helped, helped me relax around people. Getting exercise and getting to bed and up at same time is important. Lastly realize if you're having trouble getting to sleep a particular night it aint the end of the world, chances are you can plow through the next day with a bunch of coffee. So don't sweat it. Ultimately your body will put you to sleep when it's time.
Hi Larry, can you do a video on what your first day out of prison was like? Would love to hear from your point of view what it was like getting out finally after all those years.
I suffer from insomnia and have since I was very young. It took me years to figure out what causes it for me. I was molested every night and morning by my Dad. I wished I could have slept through it yet I couldn't and I still suffer from insomnia. It's terrible. I also suffer from PTD. Meditating helps some what. I refuse to take medication. Thank you for all your videos. I watch many of them because of my insomnia because I enjoy learning and you always teach me new things every video I watch. I never knew how prison is and I feel badly how terrible it is. It really stinks how prisons don't choose to help people become better so people can have the healthy tools they need when they are released. I don't know if you have made videos on how to better yourself while in prison yet I would think that would be a great video. I currently have a childhood friend who has spent most of his life in jail or prison and he is struggling a great deal. I suggested that he take courses and any classes that are available to help him through out life when he is released. He has 1 year and 8 months until he is released. He still seems to have the criminal mind set and I often wonder if he we ever be able to separate his past and when released stay away and out of trouble. I truly hope and want the best for him as well as people in general.
A lot of the prison sleep stories you told do remind me at my time in the Navy: the snorking, the toilet roll as pillow, the funny noised, the early wake up, the strange transfers and so on. The only that we did not have, had been to body searched and to be handcuffed. Even getting killed by the fellow in the next bed? It happened to some. Different sleeping routines? Being alert even in sleep? Bad food? Nasty people commanding you around? Getting not enough sleep? I do remember all of that very clearly from the Navy and my wild shot is that evetyone who served time in any military department does remember that.
I just discovered this channel about 2 months ago and I'm glad I did. Your stories are not only heart wrenching, entertaining, but also quite educational. I'm glad you're exposing and brining to light the corruption of the system. I'm sorry to hear what's happened to you and many others, but its made you the man you are. As a truck driver I put on your videos while I drive and love to just listen. Thanks for doing what you do. Stay string and if you're ever in Wyoming, I'd love to say hey.
In case you didn't know, if you were in a wreck and they reviewed your phone, they can see what apps are being used keystrokes etc. If they saw you had a youtube video playing irregardless of if you were just listening they could use that against you. Best to just stick with audio only based apps.
Interesting and informative. Honest insightful. Sounds like you can be a motivational speaker to some of those high school kids. They can learn from your experiences so they don't make mistakes and bad choices that could lead them to prison. You are a wealth of information and experience. Your videos are keeping me sane during this week! I’m trying to get out of an abusive relationship after an apartment fire (unrelated) and I look forward to these. I think I was SA as a child and will NOT sleep with my back to the door and am an extremely light sleeper now. I wish I had someone like you!!
Just came across your channel. Respect for getting out and making a positive contribution to the world. I can relate to sleep troubles, as when we were deployed to Iraq, sleep was difficult in the field.

Glad you are out and safe. I have friends who were guards and actually guarded me. You can see those videos in my playlist. Gary Massey. We just spoke today. Good man.
@@LarryLawtonJewelThiefAlot of this is truly depressing to watch and listen to. 😣💔...I dunno if you have already or not, if not, it'd be great if you made some videos on that, how to befriend guards, how to get them on your side, to guard you like that. Also on how to know if you can fully trust a guard and they won't backstab you.
Interesting video Larry. I've never really thought much about this much. I'd lose my shit, I'm a lite sleeper so having a cellmate that snores would drive me insane. You're right, getting adequate sleep is essential. With my lifestyle its damn near impossible for me to get the rest I need. It catches up with you for sure. Keep putting out these awesome videos dude. Take care 👊
Woah Larry, I just stumbled across your channel yesterday and love these kinds of videos. I heard you say something that I haven't heard anyone else describe, that I experience as well. I don't want to miss out on things either and that deters me from sleeping. It's nice to see there are other people that experience this.
You such a genuine dude and I love seeing people who have done fucked up things be good people at the end of the day u prove alot of people wrong about "people can't change"
You are the FIRST PERSON I have ever heard talk about insomnia and "not wanting to miss things" That fits me exactly. That and the PTSD of being homeless at 12 years old smoking heroin. But now that I've been clean for 30+ years my insomnia is exactly as you stated it. It's a strange feeling. Like you don't want to let go of today. I think in your case it might stem from the fact that your "today's" are up to you. Your freedom makes you relish your consciousness. That is what I've learned about me. Maybe you can relate, not sure. I went to CYA, it's a gladiator farm in there. I barely slept.
You ever have a lucid dream Larry? Although many of us can control various elements of a dream like that, all that a lucid dream is defined as is "being aware that you're dreaming." I had my first one the night of a small acid dose back when I was 15, and I've uncontrollably been having thousands of them over the last 25 years. It's an amazing place to explore.
Hey great video series. I have a question that popped up watching this one. I have sleep apnea, I use a CPAP machine to sleep. Without it I snore very loud, I stop breathing in the night, whole nine yards. My question deals with medical devices. In the short term I would survive without my machine, long term it puts strain on my heart, but it's not like an insulin pump that if insulin isn't administered one goes into shock and coma . What are prison policies on medical devices and their use?
I did a lot of time in prison in Texas and got out in 2004. If you had asked about something like that back then, they would have laughed at you. Since the Feds are more involved in state prisons due to lawsuits, it might have changed. There were a couple "medical units" where extremely sick inmates were sent. {stage 4 cancer, old age senility, and of course, the criminally insane}. Medical care in Texas sucked.
Man Larry, completely off topic, but I got an MRI today and I thought of you. You mentioned a couple of times how bad your claustrophobia became because of prison.
Been watching you for a while now. I'm sure I've seen this video, but I just noticed what you said about sleep. The fact that you don't want to miss out. I've never heard anyone say that other than myself. I typically operate on 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night. I feel like we already sleep our lives away so I tend to actually avoid sleeping more times than not. I just had to point out that I relate and haven't met many others that feel the same. Love the videos, man.

I love how detailed and in depth he goes into for all his topics, and how he shares actual facts he research and sharing personal experiences. Im set if i get locked up lmao
I've never been to prison but I've been incarcerated in county not knowing for how long. Possible attempted murder charge I didn't know.. that's one of the worst ways to do time.
I used to listen to coast to coast back in the day!! I’d put it on coming back from work. Id be coming back home around 3 in the morning- and I’d throw coast to coast on during the commute home.
It's really interesting hearing your story's Larry. Takes me back to my time in Monmouth County back in 06'. Luckily I managed to get into the medical wing when I said I felt suicidal (even though I didn't) , and I was blessed with actually finding my good buddy already in there for holding up a Quickchek. Certainly made the time pass nicely 👍
"I don't believe in bad people,i believe in bad choices" - in all honesty before i started watching your content i admit i was one of those "well they did something bad to go to prison, who gives a fuck" people but now after I can't remember how long of being a subscriber i am honestly ashamed of having that kind of a mentality and I'm truly grateful to you for changing my views on the matter and it is with this changed (and for the better) world view i hope to raise my daughter and my soon to be born son (in late June but still....soon)
Larry !! You are one hell of a good man. We all make mistakes, but we learn from them, hopefully! I've learned so much from your vids. You don't act like a know it all. Just a great job of passing information around. THANX !
Sounds like you astral projected Larry. Awesome stuff. It's also possible to have that experience without drugs. There are a lot of tutorials out there on how to do it. Whether your consciousness is actually leaving your body or if it's some weird virtual reality hallucination inside your brain, it's really cool either way.
Really love your content man. I'm not from the US, and even though I had some issues with the law in my country of origin I never faced prison time. Anyway I'm fascinated to learn about prison life and really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!
I've been a Coast to Coast fan since Art Bell was doing it. I was a musician and coming home after a gig was Coast time. Never hit me a lot of guys locked up were doing the same thing.
I have never come close to being in jail ever. I was in the Navy for 22 years and there is no comparison but the looking out for one another seems to be a bit similar. Thank you for doing this work and I am glad you are doing well.
Hey Larry, do the guards use sleep deprivation as a form of prisoner control? Im a vet and I understand what the lack of sleep can do to people. Ive went days without sleep before and I see how that could be used to simply mess with people.
Hey Larry I probably wouldn’t be able to survive prison but if I ever had to go in there I would probably be a real loner. The question I had was if you where able to do such a thing where you don’t have any friends (nor enemies) and how the others inmates would react to such behaviour. Like would they mess with you just because they knew they would get away with it or would they leave you mostly to yourself?
Me too. :) But I think, it's kinda equal like in the free world in times of war or when a natural katastroph is happening or something like that. Then you just can't be a loner, you have to have other people to survive and so on.
I have heard lots of ex-cons say the best thing you can do is to keep your head low and keep to yourself. This makes me think being a loner wouldn’t be too much harm to yourself
@@NotGoodAtFantasy I would not say, that keeping to yourself is the same as having no allies. And for having allies you have to be at least useful and to be that, you have to communicate with people. So I think, you can be a loner, but you shouldn't lack social skills and useful skills overall. (...but I also could be totally wrong with this thoughts.^^)
When I was in Afghanistan 08-09, later in the deployment I would have the most vivid of dreams about being at home. Then you wake up, and it takes several minutes to realize it was a dream, now, even 15 years later, I have the most vivid of dreams that I'm in Afghanistan, then you wake up and it takes several minutes to realize it was a dream and your safe at home, not even in the military anymore. Dreams can be crazy. I've been told that it's your brain's way of processing things you are worried or stressed about.
In the hospital in my uk town the visitors are sent home at 8, then the staff start doing medication rounds, begin putting people to bed and by half 8 the lights are turned down. Then most people are asleep by 9-9.30. Except when I was on a ward with 5 elderly ladies, 4 had Alzheimers. So I’d read to them a bit, then the night nurse would come in. Then they realised I’d sort them from my bed they took her away because they didn’t need her in there. In a couple of days I’d gone from teaching and entertaining children to adult 😀 it was fun

Holy shit! Acid in prison?! Now that a story we NEED to hear. I remember watching a documentary about Nicholas Sand, one of the most prolific chemists that produced LSD, and how he would have psychedelic ceremonies in prison after they finally got him - he said he saved a few prisoners lives with psychedelics. Would love to hear more about people seeking enlightenment/positive consciousness growth, with or without using psychedelics as a tool in the joint

@@itsofficialb yeah, its fascinating to me - check these quotes from Nick Sand (one of the most well respected LSD chemists ever known) 'quite possibly the funniest and yet most endearing aspect of the shameless proselytizing nature of Nick Sand: He found a way to smuggle in and dose many prisoners at McNeil Island Penitentiary with psychedelics during his stay there. “We got the whole prison stoned, this is what freedom is really about. It’s not about not being in chains, it’s about not having your mind enslaved,” Nick declared.'
I really enjoyed this one, Larry! I'm a lucid dreamer, but I can only do it about 3 times a week or I get exhausted. I can't imagine being able to do that in prison.
Old school guy here. Haven't been in front of a judge since '95 and at 63 it's done for me. New life and I love it. When I did time I read all night and slept all day. BUT that was a long time ago. Keep your mouth shut, mind your business and stand up when you have to you you'l do o.k. Respect.

I really like how you described the psychedelic moment with the hovering above the prison and all. Sounds a bit like ego-dissolution, where you lose connection to yourself. In some sense it can feel like you see yourself from the third person, your sourroundings, the whole universe with you at it's center. It can be beautyful, profound, scary and blissful at once.
I had to laugh about the snorers. My husband’s college roommate, Clarence, lord, you could hear him through three closed doors. My son and husband are big snorer’s, I sleep with ear plugs. And now I’m in a wrecked body constantly in pain and out of breath. I can’t think of anything more scary than going to prison.
Hi Larry, thanks for the great videos! I have a question about the snoring. I used to snore really loud and it turned out it was because I had sleep apnea. I have a small machine that connects to a face mask that really helps. Did you ever see any inmates be able to get those, even if they supplied their own? Thanks!
Hey Larry! Because of your videos, I’ve been wanting to start writing to current prisoners. I was planning on writing to a guy who I don’t know and is in for life. Is that a good idea? If so, what should I write about?
It could be a good idea but beware, there are a lot of scams coming out of acts of kindness like this. Even watch what you say . Like going on vacation next week. One phone call and you could be screwed. Just be aware . A good idea is to obtain a postal box . Much safer .

Lol
AHle
*Ear Plugs Brother!*

I would've asked the guards to quiet down. Sometimes you have to assert yourself. They probably had no idea they were being so loud.

We did sleep deprivation training when I first joined.

It sure does. Thank you
I did 24 and change in prison in Texas and got out in 2004.

Those places created mentally ill people and exacerbates the already mentally ill

I had my first one the night of a small acid dose back when I was 15, and I've uncontrollably been having thousands of them over the last 25 years.

Join the Army Bro once u join u never sleep again...
I've been a Coast to Coast fan since Art Bell was doing it. I was a musician and coming home after a gig was Coast time. Never hit me a lot of guys locked up were doing the same thing.
Sup dude! Newer fan! Just got outta county jail around here and am here to say sup and thanks for advice ! Hang in there free brother!!! ❤
I have never come close to being in jail ever. I was in the Navy for 22 years and there is no comparison but the looking out for one another seems to be a bit similar. Thank you for doing this work and I am glad you are doing well.
100 sailors go down. 50 couples come up!
Hey Larry, do the guards use sleep deprivation as a form of prisoner control?
Im a vet and I understand what the lack of sleep can do to people. Ive went days without sleep before and I see how that could be used to simply mess with people.
Did you ever get "sleep management?" Jump tall buildings for 3-4 days and crash
Hey Larry I probably wouldn’t be able to survive prison but if I ever had to go in there I would probably be a real loner. The question I had was if you where able to do such a thing where you don’t have any friends (nor enemies) and how the others inmates would react to such behaviour. Like would they mess with you just because they knew they would get away with it or would they leave you mostly to yourself?
I would like a video on that too
I like it when you are being a bit more humble, keep up the good work
A relative who works in a prison collected his children earlier, I think I’ll watch Larry later! Popped into my head 😂😀 glad I did
In the hospital in my uk town the visitors are sent home at 8, then the staff start doing medication rounds, begin putting people to bed and by half 8 the lights are turned down.
Glad you are watching now
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief yes I was 😀 Then I got into a loop of prison type videos, until I decided it was way past sleep time. Like you I’m not good at going to sleep
Look, man, acid isnt some enlightement pill. Although most of us know at least that one guy who wont stfu about acid, shrooms or dmt and how they killed they ego with them.
@@alluuskomaton8333 definitely not. But they can be a tool to help people make drastic changes in their life; a catalyst of you will.
No way in hell I’d ever be dropping in a joint like prison wayyyy too many variables
It’s not about not being in chains, it’s about not having your mind enslaved,” Nick declared.'
with one eye open
Always
And your arse to the wall
Just not the brown eye😂
I really enjoyed this one, Larry! I'm a lucid dreamer, but I can only do it about 3 times a week or I get exhausted. I can't imagine being able to do that in prison.
Old school guy here. Haven't been in front of a judge since '95 and at 63 it's done for me. New life and I love it. When I did time I read all night and slept all day. BUT that was a long time ago. Keep your mouth shut, mind your business and stand up when you have to you you'l do o.k. Respect.
Larry takes care of his mom. That’s what a good son does. Cautiously is definitely a word. Larry definitely has the gift of the gab. I’m glad that he’s out and telling his story. Larry’s videos should be mandatory viewing for students so that they stay out of prison.
I was in Ohio with Larry cell mates for 1.3 Years He Really is a big Teddy Bear
Then woke up from a dreamLOL to only find out he is a big teddy bear
I really like how you described the psychedelic moment with the hovering above the prison and all.
Sounds a bit like ego-dissolution, where you lose connection to yourself. In some sense it can feel like you see yourself from the third person, your sourroundings, the whole universe with you at it's center.
It can be beautyful, profound, scary and blissful at once.
I had to laugh about the snorers. My husband’s college roommate, Clarence, lord, you could hear him through three closed doors. My son and husband are big snorer’s, I sleep with ear plugs. I am guilty of the Ambien shuffle for 15 years.
Good informative video. My cousin is doing life in Arkansas in Ad-Seg. Can’t imagine the stuff he goes through, I know he has spent time in the hole.
I would have them tested for sleep apnea.
Larry I am addicted to your stories an essentially you’re life! The system hates you not just because you fought them but because you went in with a loose screw an you replaced it with better and tighten it! I am free an sometimes feel hopeless but you give me hope and if I ever had a chance to meet you that’s all I would say thank you for giving me hope!
To this day I still listen to art Bell shows to go to sleep to!
Hey Larry, would you be able to react to "Worlds Toughest Prison Mountjoy Ireland Documentary Episode 1", I think it would be cool if you could compare prisons in America to Ireland or other European countries. Hope you are doing well
I will look into it. I know the host of that show. Good dude
Thanks dude, love the vids
I loved the Art Bell mention, and it brings back memories. (I did get ruined somewhat by too many commercials.)
I’m listening to you Larry and your stories and I did 10 years in the Army. Honestly I can relate to a number of your rules and tips. I still don’t think I’d survive prison.
Let him know we know what they are going through
Great idea, just be careful and don't do anything illegal. But it is a nice thing for you to do
It could be a good idea but beware, there are a lot of scams coming out of acts of kindness like this. Even watch what you say . Like going on vacation next week. One phone call and you could be screwed. Just be aware .
A good idea is to obtain a postal box . Much safer .
@@n40tom Good advice
Why don't you spend some time writing to the victims or the families of victims killed by some perps?
