when i was younger, i loved hearing the clicky sounds of the blues and razer greens. now that im older, the slient ones are soo good. how times have changed
Same bro i always wanted razer blackwidow, now i own a RK84 modded it with banana splits and lubed it😌
Those clicky sounds are temporary after a while u dont like it that much but the peace and the beauty in the quietness is permanent
Well, the thing is, I don't think it's just you being young. When mechanical keyboards started becoming a trend again (not custom keyboards), most of them were like gaming keyboards, specifically razer green. It gave the feedback people wanted when pressing down on a key. Then, other companies followed, and then everybody was having clicky/poor sounding keyboards. Then custom keyboards hit the market, and basically it made everything else before look bad.
The thing is, I liked clicky switches before too, But here is the catch, Linear and tactile options available were not great, essentially every switch was the basic Cherrys, which obviously, are not that great of a switch since they offered no lubrication. Lubed switches really wasn't a thing back then, and combined with a lack of acoustics on keyboards, you ended up with a pingy, hollow, and scratchy keyboard with linear and tactile switches. Today now, we have aluminum cases, we know how to mod our keyboards, change our sound profile, so given this, everybody naturally transitioned over to linear and tactile switches because clicky switches just doesn't offer much customization or as nice of a sound profile as the other 2.
Same
exactly
Qk65 never disappoints. Such soothing sound.
That sound profile is only achievable with KAT keycaps. 1.7mm thick PBT dyesub keycap is just on another league
@@Invictus22656 nah you need to try qk65 with foams and without the silicone layer. As long as you have decent pbt keycaps you will be fine.
@@IronCan88 Q2 or QK65? What do you recommend ?
@@leonard.nicolae qk65 will feel and sound more premium. It will be available first quarter next year.
Q2 will give you both windows and Mac layout support (there's a dedicated switch). And readily available. It comes with steel plate, so if you like deeper sound or softer typing feel, you'll want to consider buying a PC plate instead. If you do get it, just remember to do force break mod and consider adding polyfill at bottom.
Qk65 comes with carry case, owlslab stabilizer, lots of foams. So keep that in mind when comparing prices. Enjoy!
The sound is similar to a geiger counter lol
Qk65 tofu65 we’re a blessing to my ears when u wear headphones.
Nice collection! My favorite was the QK65W/Boba U4T'S.
My reaction was the same as your profile pic when I heard the sound of that keyboard
Oh damm the qk65 sounding absolutely amazing
Hot take, I like the way the tofu65 sounds more than the qk65, its just sounds cleaner. But I like the aesthetics of the qk65 over the tofu65. The edges and corners on the tofu65 are too sharp lol
W Opinion
these keyboard sounds really tickle my pickle
Me too.
Probably the best sounding Logitech’s I’ve seen! And heard…
The tofu60 with matcha lattes is the first build in a long time that makes me kinda like “thock” again. It’s deep and marbly but doesn’t sound like it was stuffed to hell with foam.
Boba u4t’s have such a satisfying sound 😊😊😊
Sounds so good.
the g710 is def ur fave rn
Dang the boba’s took my ears to the next level on this one. V nice
that Logitech G710+ - Lubed Cherry Browns caught me off guard.. not bad
Haha yeah it was a pain to lube though. Had to desolder all the switches! Glad it got appreciated by someone :)
@@hardwareabstraction you kind of inspired me to go through the painful process to desolder my g710+. not that i am ever going to use it again, but yours sounds so good... that it's a shame to leave mine stock :) anyway, that keyboard is a piece of art. one of the best i've ever seen, all things considered.
@@supermario2190 haha yeah I almost never use it, but its nice to know that its lubed if I ever do end up using it.
that actually sounds like scratchy holy pandas holy sh*t
great video dude!
I love the sound of the first one 😮
oo love the qk65 and also since when did logitechs sound that good man
my both ears really enjoy this
like the keychron the best, nice and clean sound
QK65 sounds like popping bubbles😭 so good
Glorious pandas are just my favorite
Honestly, still love the sound of the stock MX Blues on that G710. It's keyboards like those that get us into the hobby, without them who knows what else we'd be typing on.
Felt like the best 48 seconds of my life. Need me one of these keyboards!
If you like the clickier less smooth sound of the first one like me get yourself the Logitech G Pro TKL, sounds and feels real nice and it's not too expensive, pre-build too if you're not tryna do all that yourself
nice boards man
Bro the Boba sounds so clean
qk65 amazing with the boba u4t
i like your style with minimal color schemes
I’ve got boba U4T’S too
tofu60 and keychron q2 stole my heart for sound
ive been meaning to get a keychron q1 for my next build, so maybe this is my calling
Keychron is a solid choice. If you have a higher budget I would look into the qwertykeys / neo stuff and see if anything there tickles your fancy
I could literally fall asleep to this
The glorious panda sound amazing
Everything after the manuform is heaven
Boba u4t's are the best switches ever. You can't convince me otherwise
that tofu with the matcha lattes were my favourite, they are my favourite switch.
I think there was PE foam in the tofu builds, so it's more of the pe foam sound rather than the switch sound.
@@lowurcase3238 even without pe foam, matcha lattes still sound good
@@anumnum2012 true true!

Tofu 65 w sounds like rain dripping on the big leaves
Very Nice!
Tofus sound insane
"How many keyboards do you have ?"
"Yes"
The cherry mx blues sound like the classic typing sfx for no reason
At first I was like wtf this guy has insane typing speed - then i realized i was on 2x playback.
QK65 sounds like Mr. Krabs walking
What keycaps were used on the tofu 65 w matcha lattes?
Dammnn you have really good keyboard. I have the g-lab Mercury...
that's great, dude
love this vid showcasing tactile switches, I have a keychron v1 with their keychron kpro brown switches and want new tactile switches, can you recommend me one that has a more pronounced bump and sounds a little better?
My all time favorite are the Boba U4T's. They're VERY tactile.
i’m getting a qk75 I hope it will sound as good as that 65
q2 sounds the best imo
What’s the white curled up cable you use? I almost love that more than the keyboards.
my favourite is the tofu60 with matcha lattes
those bobas 😩🤤
you can really see how you matured lmao even me I dont own alot of keyboards and I'm not a big modder but my first is so clicky and loud and my last is so creamy and thocky and silent
I was surprised the g710 with browns sounds that good.
yep
idk I still really like that keyboard, mx browns are actually decent once you wear them in a bit, I can for sure feel the difference between my commonly used letter keys compared to f keys. my only problem with it was it's so fucking big.
It doesn't
The blue one sounds good tho
@@rocketpadgamer lmaoooo
@@Senaru update: I tried the blues, THEY SOUND LITERALLY THE SAME AS THE BROWNS
I need to know what cables are those its beautiful
I suddenly desire for someone to make music from keyboard noises...
ooohh the qk65 really slaps
How funny is it that the cherry browns sounds really lubed
They probably are, I put almost not effort into them haha.
I watched this cuz when i hear keyboards that sound like this i get tingles for some reason 💀
Is it just me or the wire management on this video are so clean
The matchas are my favourite
the tofu60 with macha latte caps sounds like mr crabs 😭😭
If a keyboard sounds like me krabbs walking, it’s a good keyboard
best keybaords
Holee
This guy knows how to mad a keyboard
This guy can make any keyboard sound nioce
nioce
The last one sounds like popcorn 🤤
That qk65 😫
this guy seems to like keyboards
Do the Tofu builds use PE foam?
I will be rebuilding my Tofu65 soon. If I could get it sounding anything like yours it would be great.
Yup I used PE foam for that build.
I love when keyboard make no damn stupid noise
the tofu60 with matcha latte switches sounded so nice. also the qk65 with boba u4t sounds amazing but tactiles are not my thing, sadly
haha i totally unrerstand, I personally dont like linears
@@hardwareabstraction what are the keycaps you are using on the tofu65 with matcha latte switches?
boba u4ts are basically linears LOL
BRO HOW IS THAT AN AMAZING SOUND, IT'S HORRIBLE
Tofu65 with glorious pandas is smooth.
Cherry mx browns do be hitting!
I love how crunchy they sound
can you post the links? Love the matcha lattes!
Your favorite keyboard is the G710 with stock Cherry Blues, no doubt about it! 😤
How'd you know :'_)
I have the Keychron v1 with phantom yellows. It sounds really nice. I want a nice creamy/thocky feel what would be the best switches for that. they need to be fast though and light. Ive been searching for something like that.
Hmm check out the matcha latte's.
@@hardwareabstraction thank you for responding, will do
@@hardwareabstraction Wow they sound very good, i will make sure to pick these up. thank you!
switches dont mean that much but if you want then
higround white flame
akko pom silver
boba u4t
gateron oil kings(expensive
Pandas and lattes are nice and blank ink
What keycaps did u use on tofu60 matcha latte? That black and blank keycaps was great
i got them off of aliexpress. The listing isn't available anymore but you should be able to find it with search terms like "blank black pbt keycaps"

Building a keyboard, how can I make sure a PCB can run the switches I chose, and a connector for a Bluetooth keyboard?
Depends what type of switches you're using. There's different types but most are the cherry MX style. They have a usual 3 pin or 5 pin layout. If you dont want to solder you're going to want to look for a keyboard that advertises "hotswap". As for the bluetooth part, just need to make sure whatever keyboard you buy advertises the feature.
the last one with the boba tho
Those boba sound thocky holy shit.
i want 1 hr version of Qk65
I am googling boba u4ts as we speak
i live for tofu60 glorious pandas
ngl the G710+ with lubed brown surprised me quite a bit with how good it sounds
The blue one was the one tht sounds good, not the lubed brown
Anyone happens to know the key caps used on the Tofu60 - PC Plate, Lubed Matcha Lattes keyboard?
i like first keyboard sound
tofu is crazyu
Your favourite is the tofu 65 with the lubed glorious pandas
are those kuro/shiro keycaps on the q2? bc if they are I have the same ones
I had a eargasm.
The tofu65 sounds like leprechauns tap dancing.
I never understood the appeal of strictly thocky or creamy sounds as opposed to clickity clacks. I understand why cherry blues can turn people off with its high pitched clicks but kailh jades or zeal clickiez actually sound pretty nice like old school keyboards in the 80s.
Glourious pandas and matcha lattes are best for me
Just picked up a barebones Keychron wireless Q1 but my Akko V3 cream yellow pro's haven't came
Would like to check which you would prefer to be on qk65 if looking for creamy marbly? im looking at this 3 switch would need help in choosing cause i only can afford 1. Oil kings, Epsilon or nebula? thank you
Honestly I would go for the Oil Kings. They have a ton of good reviews and most of the builds I've heard them in are fantastic.
Really late, but what keycaps are on the QK65?
please can you tell me if the matcha latte is kiiboom or invokeys? im looking to buy these switches, they sound awesome.
invokeys!
Which keycaps is that on tofu60??
Looks wonderful i need that for my tofu65
Unfortunately I dont have the link anymore, but I just looked up Blank Black PBT Keycaps on Aliexpress!
tofu60 one love!)
what are those keycaps on the tofu60 w/ matcha lattes?
how about Nuphy Air v2 with Cowberry switches?
