August was such a prolific reading month in terms of quantity, but I only gave novellas like The Salt Grows Heavy and This is Where We Talk Things Out 4 or 5 stars tbh! Really happy you enjoyed Death Comes to Marlow :)) I’m currently reading Robert Thorogood’s first cosy murder mystery series ‘Death in Paradise’ and really enjoying it

🏠 I really wanted to like the mythology retelling trend but I’m finding I generally have the same response to them that you had to Hera. So I’ve mostly stopped reaching for them.
I finished Harrow the Ninth last night! Really enjoyed it but I’m giving my brain a small break before I dive into Nona. 🤯😆

Yeah, it's been done alot. Some are really good but Hera wasn't it for me unfortunately.
